This firm was exactly what I needed at this point in my life. The staff is incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and they are well prepared and thorough. Have had previous bad experiences with lawyers, and this place has cured my reluctance completely. They are professional, prepared, and compassionate. Highly recommend!

Horrible Attorney!! Never took in to consideration all the things th Mother did never brought it out in court?? And never let me say my piece in court al ays told me to be quiet and not say a word!! Wanted to appeal the judge's wring decision and she would not do it?? My kids Mom stood up in court under oath and lied and I think my attorney believed her as well as the judge?? No cross examination?? Honestly think she totally worked against me!! I already had joint custody to begin this fight, and was way grossly over charged! And to just get the same joint custody??? You tell me public what does that tell you?? 20 grand to get the same outcome?? Ex was absent from our kids life half thier life?? That is an injustice!!! Family court is a joke in this city!!

The Whitley Law Firm represented us in a particularly lengthy custody battle. They represented us through some dramatic twists and turns but were able to come up with legal strategies to make the best of a bad situation. Their personal commitment along with some great legal maneuvering was truly remarkable.

I have had a horrible experience with them. They have tried to operate 100% by email so far. Huge opportunities were lost because they didn’t inform me of anything to help me understand what was going on. More than once, one of my emails was completely mis-read, causing many more emails, equaling much more money for them. Phone calls to clarify the lack of actually reading my emails? More money for them. After the initial appointment I didn’t ever see anyone. My ex’s cut-rate lawyer was more attentive and helpful for him than mine; and these guys cost me 5 times more than his lawyer. I have been terrified that really important things would get left out of final documents. All in alI have felt completely alone in this process. I do not recommend them in any way.

My mom originally hired The Whitley Law Firm in 2018 and I attended court with her. Mrs. Whitley was incredible. She is not only kind and compassionate, but she is confident, competent and a woman of her word. I have since hired her for my own case and look forward to moving on to the next chapter with her by my side!

I would not recommend using this firm. I believe some of the other reviews might be false to hide the actual service this Firm provides.
I contacted this firm about a year ago because of the excellent reviews. After meeting attorney in person I was assured that the cost would not be greater than the 2,500.00 retainer required to continue. I then decided to contract this firm.
My divorce was fairly simple; no opposing attorney, no joint property, no joint assets, no children. Yet this matter took more than a year to finally get to a judge and final invoice was double the cost (5,000.00).
This firm will run up your cost dramatically so be ware. I could only imagine what my cost of divorce would be if more was involved.

They handled my divorce and I do not recommend. They did not communicate with me about my case at all. that is terrible, when you are in a very vulnerable state and want support (that you are dearly paying for). One thing they were prompt about is sending me monthly attorney fee statements. I dearly regret choosing this firm to handle my divorce.

Won't even call you back to let you know that they are not interested in your case. I called several times and on the 3rd time was told if I didn't receive a call back then they didn't want to deal with your case.

I went to Mrs. Whitley regarding a complicated jurisdiction case. I spoke with her in great detail about my situation. She said she was "very intrigued" about my case and that "these types of cases were her specialty!" She assured me that she was going to take good care of me, sue my ex for attorney fees and make all of it stop, since I had been going through this for quite a some time now. I had a strange hearing scheduled a few days later and Mts. Whitley advised me to go alone and request for an extension so I had more time to hire an attorney, then to call her afterwards to let her know what happen. She quoted me a $1500.00 retainer, explaining that this was such an easy case and he was not going to win. There was no hearing and missed a whole day of work to go down to the courthouse for nothing. When I called Mrs. Whitley's office, I spoke to Kate who proceeded to accuse my ex of forging the court hearing. I assured Kate that my ex is active duty military, with a high security clearance and that he would not jeopardize doing something so silly. I told Kate that if something else comes up, I would call and pay the retainer fee, since I am on a very tight income and wanted to use every penny I can on the Whitley Law Firm in the courtroom representing me.
One week later I was notified from my out of state attorney that a hearing was scheduled last minute. I called Mrs. Whitley and spoke with Sandy who said she would let Mrs. Whiley know what was going on and she would call me back. Sandy called me back and said "Mrs. Whitley was declining to take my case!" I was in tears! I didn't know what to do. I rushed down to the courthouse to ask the judge to give me time to hire an attorney AGAIN! Luckily it was granted and now I'm googling again.
Mrs. Whitley initially gave me such a peace of mind and I felt like the weight of the world was off my shoulders! I couldn't believe she left me hanging with no where to turn!

I do not know of a better firm! The Whitley Law Firm gave me excellent legal help when I needed it.
