Si Padre

I'm typically not the kind of person who would post a public Google review, especially for a law firm. But I just noticed how some person gave this law firm a 1-star rating along with a volatile, jumbled tirade of spewed words that were clearly meant to damage the public reputation of good people.

It ought to be a crime to spam 1-star ratings like the one below.

Well then.

Here's my experience:

An amazing team of caring individuals who make it their singular prerogative to protect you and your family, and especially your rights as a parent and human being.

I never thought I'd be in this crappy situation. But I can't imagine going through this without the support and backing of these incredible people.

A highly distinguished Texas family law judge (now retired) recommended I call Christine Leatherberry. (I recommend you call her as well). I can't tell you how grateful I am for her.

From our very first meeting, Christine has been nothing short of a lifeboat in the middle of chaos. She has a rare and comforting balance of sincere empathy (she's a mom who "gets it"), sharp intuition (she can "read" every situation and see every angle), and effective results (she's a damn good lawyer). Whenever I had an issue or worry: a simple phone call or quick email to Christine and her team was all it took: an immediate response, with immediate results, every single time. Even if Christine was in a meeting at the time of my call or email, I never had to wait for someone to take care of me: her team was always there for me to handle my every immediate need.

It was clear that I didn't just have a single lawyer to help me: I had a whole team. The firm works together and supports each other, in order to best support me and my family. And that's worth everything to me.

Highly recommended. 5/5 stars. (And it's only 5 because there's not an option for 6)

Thankful and Protected. Those 2 words hit the nail on the head when it comes to how this place makes me feel.

- A grateful dad

RE: Cease and desist from [stalking/harassment/defamation/perjury, etc.]

Dear LLOYD MILLARD BENTSEN IV et al.

This CEASE AND DESIST ORDER is to inform you that your persistent actions including but not limited to invasion of privacy by hiring investigators to follow my family and me, filing fabricated and false affidavits in a court of law, harassment, stalking, slander, libel, etc., have become unbearable. You are ORDERED TO STOP such activities immediately as they are being done in violation of the law.

Please note that I have a right to remain free from your illegal, intimidating and unwanted tactics, and I will take the responsibility upon myself to protect that right. Note that a copy of this letter and a record of its delivery will be stored. Note too that it is admissible as evidence in a court of law and will be used as such if need be in the future.

This CEASE AND DESIST ORDER demands that you immediately discontinue and do not at any point in the future under any circumstances do the following to RICHARD DOUGLAS HUNTING II: speak to, speak about, contact, pursue, harass, attack, strike, bump into, brush up against, push, tap, grab, hold, threaten, telephone (via cellular or landline), instant message, page, fax, email, follow, stalk, shadow, disturb my peace, keep me under surveillance, gather information about and/or block my movements at home, work, social gatherings or religious functions.

[Texas: Note that your behavior is a violation of the Texas Penal Code Subsection 42.072(a)(b)(c) - Stalking]

[Texas: Note that your behavior is a violation of the Texas Penal Code Subsection 42.07(a)(b)(c) - Harassment]

[Texas: Note that your behavior is a violation of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code Title 4. Liability In Tort - Chapter 73. Libel]

[Texas: Note that your behavior is a violation of the Texas Penal Code Subsection 37.02(1)(2) - Perjury]

[Federal: Note that your behavior is a violation of US Federal Laws 18 USC Subsection 2265 Full Faith and Credit, 18 USC Subsection 2261A Interstate Stalking, 18 USC Subsection 875(c) Interstate Communications, 47 USC Subsection 223(a)(1)(c) Harassing Telephone Calls in Interstate Communications]

[Interstate Statues: Note that your behavior is a violation of Federal Criminal Statutes 18 USC 2261A - Interstate Stalking and 47 USC 223(a)(1)(c) - Obscene or Harassing Telephone Calls in the District of Columbia or in Interstate or Foreign Communications]

Again, you must IMMEDIATELY STOP your illegal and unwanted activities and send me written confirmation that you will stop such activities. You risk incurring very severe legal consequences if you fail to comply with this demand.

This letter acts as your final warning to discontinue this unwanted conduct before I pursue legal actions against you. At this time, I am not contacting the authorities or filing civil suit against you, as I hope we can resolve this matter without authoritative involvement. I am not under any circumstances, however, waiving any legal rights I have presently, or future legal remedies against you by sending you this letter. This order acts as ONE FINAL CHANCE for you to cease your illegal activities before I exercise my rights.

Sincerely,
RICHARD DOUGLAS HUNTING II
