Let's face it, finding a lawyer for any reason can be very stressful. I'm here to say, Mary and her team exceeded my expectations of a law firm. Mary takes every case with a level of passion and dedication that makes you feel very comfortable with trusting her with your case. She reads and responds to every email, document, and question. She made me feel as though I was the only customer. LJ, by far, is the most diligent, calm, and industrious paralegal. I've worked directly with her for over a year and everyday she deposited something valuable into my case. She not only assisted Mary but she was an integral part to my own preparation. No matter how often I called or emailed, they provided quality customer service. This is a very family oriented law firm. They went from being complete strangers to lifelong friends. Being an out of state client, I knew nothing about NC laws nor was I organized with case details. They removed every obstacle, they created organized and detailed binders, and they knew my life story better than I did. I'm forever grateful for such a well verse and dedicated group of professionals that don't look at clients as just clients but as family members.

It is only because of Larry Economos I give this office stars. It was his advice about hiring a psychologist to evaluate my son and then have her testify that got me full custody of my son. The office however is very unhelpful. The price quoted to me about the estimates of my case were not what I ended up being charged. They charged me almost three times as much as the highest level of what they quoted me. During my case I could never get an answer to my questions if I had a balance. Once that balance was paid office staff were suddenly responsive. I was told towards the end of my case that my last bill was to be my last bill and then a few weeks later I received another bill. Now I am requesting my copies of paperwork from my case to be emailed to me and they state they do not have any. Larry has left the practice and took all the files with him. I do not expect how they can think I believe this. You didn’t keep any records? That would be horrible business practice. Then they stated they do have my divorce papers because they did not handle my divorce. That is what I hired them for though. To handle my divorce and child custody. So, I spent three times as much quoted and they didn’t even do the job I hired them for? Don’t take your business here. All they care about is money and will charge a lot more than anyone else.

Please don't even think to hire this law firm. They will not represent you in a responsible way and when you try to reach them on the phone or via email, GOOD LUCK. They will not respond to you. I have hired them to appeal a DMV suspension. They charged $450. But appeal was denied because either they didn't pay for the transcript or didn't send the transcript. I'm trying to get a response for past 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back from them.

I would highly recommend Triangle Divorce Lawyers! Mrs. Gurganus and her team are definitely outstanding. For more than two years, they have helped me navigate through an extremely difficult litigation case. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for their support and hard work on my case.

Please whatever you do avoid this firm! If you are introduced to Larry run away as fast as you can. You will regret every dollar you spend here and I promise you will overspend many! The “great” reviews on here are from employees of the firm. That should say it all. Divorce is hard enough, Larry Economos makes it pure hell. I’ve never written a review in my life but I feel compelled to warn every person I can to avoid this place! I have met Mary the owner outside the business and she is a wonderful person, it is a shame Larry Economos ruins her name! There are many good firms in Raleigh avoid this one!!!

I have had the pleasure of hiring and working with Larry C. Economos Attorney At Law on three separate occasions(cases). Each time I was impressed with his knowledge of the law as it pertained to each of the 3 cases we worked together on. Yes they were 2 divorce cases an appeals case period of 3 years. Were in each case Mr Economos conducted him self with professional conduct, directions and representation of the facts for my needs and the courts needs. I did not have a good experience here at all. I had a hearing where many procedural issues occurred to my detriment. I feel I was over charged for excessive 'research' into basic and common divorce issues. The attorney didn't even show up in court with admissible evidence, the easiest thing that could have helped me. I have taken this firm off my case and feel much better I did, but I'm unfortunately out a LOT of $$ for lousy representation.

During a highly stressful time, TDL does a great job advising people of their options, explaining courses of action, and then acting promptly and with diligent follow up. Mary listens so well and provides thoughtful, caring advice. I would not hesitate to recommend TDL to others.
