If I could give them no stars I would. They were extremely nice & welcoming during my first call and over the phone consultation & when processing my payment but after that I never heard anything else from them. They told me my case would be postponed and because I was an out of state resident (from Washington DC) I wouldn’t have to appear in court. After receiving tickets in the mail & trying to reach them for weeks to see what was going on I decided to call the court to find out that no one appeared for my case & I was found guilty which is why I received the tickets. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LAWYER THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!! Now I need a lawyer for my lawyer. Just disgusting!

This was the worst law firm I have ever seen. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to anyone they took my money and didn’t finish my case .i live in Georgia and my Case was in Carroll county va.they never got my record changed to what the court decision was reduced to.my driving record is jacked up and I’m a cdl driver so whenever I called to get them to tell Georgia that my record hasn’t been changed to the correct status they boldly told me to call bubble lip law firm to fix it .i was devastated that they treated me this way not only they did that but I felt decriminated.i have text from the law firm telling me I should be glad I have a job little did they know I own a logistics company and I am a freight broker.the lawyer that is most experienced is the one that said this in text I have proof of that still to this day.i am a very busy guy so i needed this to happen pretty quickly and it took almost 9 months to contact Georgia about this because I thought they had took careful care of this for me.i was so frustrated I just took matters in my own hands eventually leading to an argument between me and the lawyer and I have proof if anyone wants to see.i can go on about that but it not worth my time to relive this.please do yourself a favor and check these people out firsthand.someone should be held accountable for what this firm is doing to people and their money.this seems like a scam

Got a speeding charge so I hired a lawyer from this firm. He called me to tell him to meet him at the court house the morning of my court date, he was over 10 minutes late and didn’t know my case. He asked me to repeat it multiple times. He did help me get it plead down to a driving class and the court fee but as soon as I signed the paper stating I agree with the ruling he left and never called me again. The paperwork is now severely messed up, it would be nice if they actually stuck around till the case was closed and finished.

I'm a North Carolina resident, where I've been driving for over five years without a single ticket, and with a perfect driving record. I visit Virginia once for vacation, and I'm ticketed for exceeding the speed limit by 20mph, (an offense that warrants immediate license suspension in NC.) Fortunately within days I received a letter from The Fisher Law Firm letting me know they'd be able and willing to take the case for me. I called the office and was talking to a lawyer within 15 minutes who told me exactly what to expect, what he could do, and what I needed to get done. I was surprised with the retainment cost of $545 which seemed very expensive, but regardless was the best option given the circumstances. All further correspondence was done via email, and was very quick and simple. After the court date being pushed back almost six months my court date arrived, which I was very happy about not having to attend thanks to The Fisher Law Firm. After the court date on Friday I didn't hear anything from the firm, which I wasn't particularly happy about. The attorney spoke to me directly early Monday however, explained the results, and everything that was left to be done. They were able to reduce my ticket to a non moving violation, which had a $200 fine, but saved me from any points against my license, any insurance raise, and the license suspension. Very pleased overall, would certainly recommend this firm, even though it was rather expensive, I was able to recieve what I consider as close to best possible scenario.

Mr.Fisher helped me with a court case in Rockbridge court that seemed impossible to go in my favor, yet it did. He gave me expert advice that helped us make game time decisions in my favor. Let me start off by saying that I am an out-of-state driver and Virginia Tech student. I got a reckless driving ticket (85/65) in Carrol county (obviously) as I was going home for winter break. Ashamed and extremely stressed due to the seriousness of the situation, The Fisher Law Firm was the first letter I got in the mail. After getting the guts to finally make the call to discuss my case, the first person I talked to was Mr. Fisher's secretary. As soon as I explained my charge the secretary asked what county I got ticketed in, I responded "Carrol". She replied "of course" and it instantly made me feel better. As a student, It's extremely easy to feel hopeless after learning experiences such as this. Mind you, my driving record is far from crystal clear. I have a history of accidents and a few speeding tickets- no thanks to speed traps conveniently placed throughout campus and the New River Valley. The extremely kind secretary transfered me to Mr.Fisher and the first thing he did was ask me my history. Although hesitant, I did so. He told me off the bat that I was looking at $1200 as a flat fee for a Carrol county court date but reassured me that not only could he get this charge reduced to improper equipment but it would come with no points. I was skeptical, of course, but he reassured me that his experience and history with these cases spoke for themselves. Although this may seem expensive, this price tag is simply incomparable to the trouble and fines I could have got with my history. My court date was last week and, as promised, my reckless driving ticket got reduced to a no point, improper equipment. For someone considering anyone else, you WILL get what you pay for. Mr. Fisher is well known in the Blacksburg area and is really commited to helping people breathe a little easier. He is extremely nice and approachable and is a commodity to any driver stuck in a bit of a bind. He knows what he is doing.

Couldn't hold their promise, couldn't even get the parking ticket removed

Mr. Fisher took care of my dui case well. It was extraordinarily long (2yrs) and Mr Fisher was always super helpful during the entire time. He is resourceful and knows what he is doing. Even after 6months my case was settle, when I went back for some court documents, he was still on top of it. When you walked in his office, don't be scared by his price, his service is worth it.

I am 20 years old and was on my way to Virginia Beach to see my husband who had just joined the navy. I was arrested and charged with Drunk In Public (I'm 19, so I'm underage as well) while at a football game in Lane Stadium. This charge is categorized as a common misdemeanor. I hired Mr. Fisher a month before my initial court date. I needed information about a legal problem I had over 4 years ago in VA while I live out of state. The offices of Mr. Fisher answered my questions completely and in a timely manner, while not asking any compensation in return even though I probably took up at least a half hour of their time. I was ticketed driving through Washington county Virginia. 10 miles over the limit. I was solicited by fisher legal via mail. My consultation they said they would try several ways to get this dismissed. I have a clean driving record, I was told by consultant that more than likely would just be driving improvement course that would be required. I hired representatives to avoid travel and for someone more aware of the situation. No one contacted me after my consultation. I have had to call to find out what information was needed, and to verify all my information was received. Never spoke with an attorney. Never was asked anything. They can say they made sure points didn't go on my record but not very happy with how this was handled. Nicole and Jenny "secretaries" are the only people that were helpful, and that spoke with me.

Customer service was most definitely lacking at one point. The attorney that represented me was unclear, unresponsive and provided conflicting information; until Mr. Fisher got involved.

My personal experience with them has been traumatic.

I hired their services to reduce my reckless driving. The front desk who answered my call said I must pay half their fee upfront. I saw their 4 star reviews on google and I trustingly gave it them.

I was hoping for Mr. Fisher to represent me but instead, some other lawyer with only a year of experience emailed me every other day with redundant info. They never tried to meet me in person. I was extremely frustrated b/c they would never return my call.

It was less than 24 hours since I paid them, so I asked them for a full refund so that I can hire a different Law Firm. The other lawyer said that he was offended that I wanted to hire a different Firm.

It was only then when Mr. Fisher called me. This was our FIRST contact. First Mr. Fisher was courteous and said that they were doing everything they can. When I insisted on the refund, things got nasty. He claimed that he'll give me the refund, but his time that he spend on my case will cost me $300/hr.

I was furious and reminded him that I contacted him within 16 hours for the refund. Mr. Fisher then said and I quote, "Okay listen, you're going jail. You're going to jail". The Fisher Law Firm then ignored my call and emails for 2 days. Then I received an email from Mr. Fisher himself saying that he will refund my half payment as a favor since I was a student from Virginia Tech. I got my refund the next business day and hired a much more professional Law Firm from Roanoke and got my case cleared.
