Kelly has been the biggest god send of this terrible divorce. If it weren’t for her being so “real” and honest, I don’t think I’d have mentally survived! Although it’s not finished yet, she truly has helped me so so much, if not just on a professional level for legal purposes, but just as someone to vent to because she understands. I had spoke with Igers Vangjeli when I was unsure if I wanted a divorce. When I decided to retain him for my divorce and as the process unfolded Mr. Vangjeli was with me every step of the way. He was open about how busy he was with other cases but I still felt like me case was his top priority. My exhusband had put me and our infant son in a dangerous and unhealthy situation. Mr. Vangjeli suggested filing an emergency temporary order to protect us from his chosen lifestyle. Mr. Vangjeli really was looking out for my childs best interest. When we met at our last court appearance against my now exhusband the judge made ans unexpected decision to finalized the divorce right then. Mr. Vangjeli and I had 10 minutes to prepare for the request in the decree. Mr. Vangjeli was obviously put on the spot but although he had nearly no time to prepare he remained profession, calm and focused as if he had weeks to prepare. He really knows his matters in family law and was able to provide me with options I didn't even know was possible.

Jonathon Glassman was polite but did not seem to know a lot about family law. I asked him to request my court costs and it was never done. He seemed very pleased about getting a 50% increase in child support, which amounted to $200 a month. Yet I had to request to carry insurance on my child due to her father's unwillingness or inability to give me proof of insurance, even though he was mandated to do so. Mr. Glassman did not suggest a way to buffer that cost to me, which was approximately $200 a month. Or at least have the father carry secondary medical insurance. I owe close to $4500 for this. I also had an issue in Missouri and filed a garnishment which was never able to be satisfied. After 1 unsuccessful attempt at collecting I decided not to pursue it. Mr. Glassman said something to the effect of " well at least you only spent about $1200 in the Missouri case." Which I appreciate him not wanting to incur more costs. I do not appreciate him assuming $1200 isn't a lot of money. The Illinois case went to court and was finished quickly. Again I appreciate keeping my "little" $4500 cost from accruing but I don't feel it was handled altogether efficiently. He was nice enough to me but I will never use or recommend Stange Law firm to anyone. Besides when I emailed to inquire why court costs weren't addressed I never received a reply.

In a confusing time, and not understanding why everything is going the way it has, its great to have an attorney that will explain everything and makes you feel like a person and not a number. After dealing with another firm for over a year, that would fail to return calls or emails for weeks at a time, Kevin O'reilly has been fantastic. I absolutely wish i would have went with Stange from the very begining.
