This idiot was assigned to me in Family Court. Since October or before, I have tried to contact him via email or phone. Silence. I can only assume that he is trying to further his career by volunteering his services to the Children’s Attorney Project. He would rather help the clients paying him then help my daughter come home. I have a Chronic Illness and Donn stresses me out even more. He screwed up my paperwork by agreeing to things I had not even read yet. I have repeatedly tried to fire Donn and get him to withdraw as my attorney. I cannot file my own paperwork to help my daughter. I cannot even help my own child get out of a very bad environment. Whatever you do. Please do NOT hire this terrible attorney.

I had multiple vehicle violations that needed to be handled. I was referred by a friend and I hired Donn to handle my many outstanding traffic violations. Rest assured, Donn has been respectful throughout our every interaction. Whether in the courthouse or his office, he's never behaved inappropriately or given even the slightest impression of being "distracted." Not a single lewd comment, no wandering eyes, nothing. It's a cheap accusation which I would take with a grain of salt.

Likewise, I was never deceived while working with Donn. In fact, he consistently told me the things I didn't want to hear, keeping me grounded where a less ethical attorney might take advantage. He could have assured me of a rare blowout victory and I'd have believed. He could have quoted me China's GDP and I'd have agreed to pay, so long as it could be done in monthly installments. There was every chance to exploit a desperate, naive single mother, yet he and his team always acted in my family's best interest. Not only is Donn Prokopius professional and personable as one expects from an attorney, but he's also upfront and realistic as one should hope for in their counselor.

I'm also grateful for the wonderful legal team. Everyone I've worked with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Calls were promptly returned, papers filed on time, and my (occasionally stupid) questions were always answered. Jodi is just lovely and always helpful face-to-face or by phone, Tom cranks out top-notch paperwork at the speed of light, and I have a special appreciation for Alex and the massive amount of time I witnessed him putting into the case.

All things considered, I believe that Donn and his associates achieved the best possible outcome for our custody/visitation case, which had complicated circumstances to say the least. Everyone involved worked their asses off to make the whole situation as painless as possible, however futile those efforts seemed some days, and in the end it's made a difference. He made me feel comfortable with my stand against the other party's petition to be granted general guardianship of my children. The disheartening element, in this particular life event, was that it happened to be my parents who were doing this. The case never went to trial.
