Unfortunately I. An not recommend this firm. I hired to represent me on an NTTA case and they did negotiate with the NTTA on my behalf. However they did not make me aware of court fines, which are separate, and due dates. When I got a letter from the court directly, I tried contacting the firm directly though my online case file which was still active. No response. Then I tried calling, the first time I was let on hold for over 22 minutes then sent to a voicemail. Tried calling several other times but could never speak to a live person. I ended up working with the court directly which is probably what I should have done in the first place.

At first they were nice and pleasant to work with, but they lost me with the unresponsiveness and follow up.

The best firm you will ever go to for help. fair prices, very informative on available option and very professional.

Great for the price! I was hoping for dismissal but that's wishful thinking. They did however get me on deferred adjudication and were able to make the court dates for me. Definitely worth the money for it would have been more than that for me to drive all the way out to McKinney and take a day off of work. Thanks Beltz! Amazing. Can't thank this firm enough for what they've accomplished for me. Things in this realm of things take time so have some patience. I imagine the team here is rather busy so yes there can be some delays in communication but let them do their thing they are ontop of it. First impression, is first impression so I left my review.

I called multiple small firms yesterday and all other 4 firms were easy to contact and obtain quotes. In fact, on the one call I got thru to your staff, I was advised that you could not help me because of information I did not have at hand , totally understood. However, one of the firms I contacted not only provided me with a resource to obtain that info, but went above and beyond to retrieve that info just to give me a quote for their services.

I understand you may have been short staffed , you are not the only business it happens to, but to be left in a call queue SEVERAL times for a while JUST to be transferred to voicemail is frustrating . No one waiting on the line knows what is going on in your office. I do not expect anyone to "jump" when I call ( seriously?) BUT there are ways to acknowledge someone -especially a potential client . It is a matter of implementing or modifying the process. Where there is a will, there is a way. Brainstorm on your next staff meeting. At one company I worked with, where we were constantly short staffed , it meant getting a color coded signal on our phones when someone had been on the queue for 1 min, 2min etc and flashing Red when it had been more than 2mins . At that point, staff was trained to switch over and acknowledge the call before placing them on hold again. That was something callers really appreciated. Just saying there are ways to strategize and improve , that's all.

Your response is baffling to me . You do realize we are able to edit our reviews ? Why not take a positive approach and attempt to reach out instead of responding the way you did and possibly change my perspective and the review I left ?

I wish I would have used Beltz in the past, they have made my life so much easier with handling my traffic tickets. Jorge Sanchez is the one you need to ask for when you call, he explains everything from the beginning and will keep you informed with any major updates. It’s so convenient because they give you access to your case and documents online. I definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

Called and spoke to Magdalena, was extremely helpful in helping me do everything that was needed from me to help make the case go smoothly.

I was told that hiring an attorney would get me a better deal than I would've gotten on my own. Well a $200 attorney fee + $188 ticket bought me nothing for my trouble. The other offense, invalid license was easily remedied and I found out later, the prosecutor would have dismissed that as I complied with a corrected license. The back of the speeding ticket read $188 so I was hoping for my trouble and money that Beltz would get that reduced. No such luck. IF you have a speeding ticket, no insurance, invalid license, don't get an attorney. Talk to the prosecutor yourself and see what you can get. They will most likely dismiss license and insurance issues if you fix those issues beforehand. As far as a speeding ticket, see if you can get deferred adjudication. You don't need an attorney for any of that. If you have a DUI, arrest warrant, maybe. But even then, if you must don't hire THIS PARTICULAR FIRM. They will take yourf money and not likely do anything you cant do yourself. If you gave 5 stars you probably didn't know this beforehand, you're rating them before your outcome, or you're flat out lying.

Response: Yes, you can get license and no insurance tickets dismissed without representation. You have a racket to protect, I understand that. So say what you want. But don’t tell me I “dug a hole” and made a good decision hiring you for something I could have done myself. I’m trying to save people the trouble of wasting money like I did. There’s no incentive or reason for the court to reduce a ticket just because you are “represented”. Like you always seem to say, you’re not magicians. I have access to the rules of law same as you. And if I had taken advantage of that I wouldn’t have hired you. And for the record I WAS “rolling around” with valid insurance. My tickets weren’t even for that! My license was NOT expired, it was just from out of state. Do you even know my case? No wonder you lost it. Go kick rocks.

Magdalena is a blessing from above she took time to explain my license situation that other law firms wouldn’t have even considered helping me. She is honest and won’t sugar coat things which is really good because lots of law firms are known to be shady.Thank you for all your help.

I had $200 parking ticket for parking in a spot that was NOT marked as unparkable. I submitted photos of it NOT being marked to Beltz representative, George, along with some errors the cop made writing my ticket (like the year of my car). I requested that Beltz Law fight this as I was clearly NOT GUILTY. I asked to speak to Mr. Beltz about it, but George swore he’d pass along the message. Instead, on my paperwork, George wrote the goal as being “Attorney to get the best deal”, which is definitely NOT what I told him in the call. Beltz must have outsourced handling this ticket without passing along my photos proving my innocence, because Beltz isn’t the one who signed the plea agreement at the courthouse where someone claimed NO CONTEST (which is basically the same as guilty to the courts).

The courts gave me 30 days to pay this plea agreement, but Beltz didn’t upload the paperwork and email me about it until 3 days before it was due. I called in to Beltz office several times, holding over an hour before giving up. I also emailed them about this whole thing, and received no response... Of course, having no answers about the validity of the plea, and if it could be undone, I didn’t pay it in time. The courts then gave me a court date where they required that I show up to court, but Beltz never notified me. Due to my not showing up, they turned me in to a collection agency, sent me a Failure to Appear letter, and cancelled my plea agreement and my deferred adjudication which was set up by Beltz. BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED TO SHOW UP IN COURT‼

Over a month later, I emailed Beltz again, and they said nothing could be changed, and in order to discuss it I will need to CALL them to talk about it (which we have already established is impossible to get through unless you call at 8am, or claim to be a new client). I did finally claim to be a new client, and left a message with the paralegal who answered. Finally, Josh called me to discuss things. He tried to explain and apologize, and even advocated to Mr. Beltz that he return my money, but Beltz refused. Kudos for having a guy like Josh to try to do damage control, but no matter what, this was malpractice. He didn't notify me of payment required in time to pay my fee, didn’t notify me of the resulting court date they set, didn’t communicate with me when I tried to reach them, and didn't make the claims I requested in court. I said NOT GUILTY and provided photo proof!

Beltz will not take responsibility for his malpractice. Run‼ He will get you into trouble with the courts, and you wont even know it, just like what happened to me‼ DO NOT HIRE BELTZ

Everyone, please take note. The attorney will fight YOU, and not FOR YOU, as evident by this response. They wont communicate anything with you after collecting $$, not even on the information portal. They'll forget your case, thereby getting you in trouble with the law or getting you more fees which you don't know about until you find them listed on your credit report. Hopefully a credit collector will get the info and inform you before it does too much damage to your credit though. Also, hopefully the court calls you and tells you of your obligations before they pin you with something random that lands you in jail.

I appreciate that Mr. Beltz acknowledges that his reps mistakenly represented him in telling me they'd send a "not guilty" plea. I'd rather have had them tell me up front, so I didn't have to waste time finding and sending the lawyer photos in support of my "not guilty" plea. Because of that, its not so outrageous to think a quick 15 minute addressing of the courts would be possible at the fee he quoted. (I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know what's typical until his representatives tell me.) Sadly, Mr Beltz himself has never called and apologized, so who knows if this actually matters to him other than this review (& the many other bad reviews) hurting his pocketbook. I honestly don't care to reduce his income. I just don't want anyone getting in legal trouble or hurting their credit over his incompetence.

I got a citation while I was on a business trip in Plano area. I’m from CA and I’m not familiar with the road situation. After I got citation, which is my first citation in life, I was so scared. And I have to head back to CA in a few days so I don’t know what to do. So I googled online and I found Beltz Law Firm online. They’re really professional and responsive! I don’t have to appear in the court, which saves me tons of money. Come to this point, people may ask how can that save your money. Please bear with me and let me showcasthe calculation. Let’s assume my hourly rate is 60/hour and the money to take driving course is averagely around $50 online for a 8 hours if I were smart. That’s 480+50=530. It turns out to be a great investment since I only need to pay 75+whatever I owe to the court. Now I save my driving record and in the long run that can range from 500 to 1000.

This is a mistake I accidentally made which I don’t want to waste too much time to expand on that. Also the city of Plano must be in need of money for the broken roads. Please use that money to fix the damn broken road. People can die and you will get sued.

I just got off the phone with one of the front desk staff at the law firm regarding to hire an attorney to dispute NTTA Block on my car. She said they do not handle cases like that which confused me because the reason I called was because that is what the type of attorney can help with on the website. If this is wrong, please reach out. I am sure the attorneys are great but, if I can't access them due to their rude staff then what is the point?
