I was charged with my 3rd DWI(Felony)on the 4th of July. My blood was more than twice the legal limit and I failed the sobriety test. I also had a felony DWI reduced to a misdemeanor in 2017 so I was facing serious jail time because of my record. I was charged with assault on a family member, something I didn’t do but video evidence against me looked incriminating so I hired Jim Medley. From the start my case was difficult for me because I didn’t live in Texas I was visiting family during the time I got charged. Being charged in another state was really stressful for me. Despite having multiple D.A changes throughout my case with led to a lot of resets Mr.Medley was there for me every single court date ready to handle whatever was needed. His Secretary Misty was amazing with me and very helpful. I was able to get any information I needed in my case through email the same day I asked. The whole team is genuine and there to help you. First of all I want to start by thanking Jim and his staff for handling a case for my family, he reacted promptly and defended him against aggravated assults charges. He was able to get the case dismissed and now my brother is a free man. Thank you Jim and God bless you!!!

My DWI arrest was dismissed and my license was not suspended, I highly recommend Mr. Medley. The night I was arrested was a complete nightmare. I suffer from a panic disorder and that night some of my worst fears were realized, being restrained with handcuffs and being taken to jail for over 17 hours! I had been out with friend we had only a couple of drinks over a long period of time when I was pulled over, for my lights being off, (apparently valet did not leave them on auto). After numerous tests I was asked to take a breathalyzer which I refused, because I do not believe they are accurate. After my refusal the officer ordered a mandatory blood draw and I spent the next 17 hours in HELL! When I was released I knew I had to find one of the best lawyers in Houston. That's when I came across Mr. Medley's brochure in the mail. Mr. Medley's credentials immediately stood out to me, not only had he trained DWI cadets but he had a Master's in Toxicology. I met Mr. Medley at his office, I am sure he could tell I was completely shaken as I had never been through anything like this before. He was very reassuring from the first meeting and told me he felt pretty positive I would be within the legal limit. Hurricane Harvey happened and it took months for the blood to come back. Luckily, when we went to court my case was dismissed for failure to prove intoxication. Today I found out the second part of my case, a possible license suspension was overturned! The officer did appear at court but Mr. Medley cross examined him and won the case! As I am writing this Misty and Mr. Medley are working on having this expunged from my record. This has been quite an eye opening experience for me, it has affected me in ways I cannot even explain. I thank God for putting Mr. Medley and his staff in my path to help me get through this tough time! I will recommend Mr. Medley to everyone!

As for me, I needed legal counsel. I searched all over Houston for a lawyer that was at a reachable cost for me and that wasn't a very easy task. I ran into lawyers asking for over 10K for my situation.

When I found Jim Medley, he and his staff made me feel very comfortable and assured me that they would do everything in their power to get a positive result in my case.

Financially, it still wasn't cheap. But I'm sure the price varies by the type of case. Jim Medley offered to help me with the costs by allowing me to pay for his services on a payment plan. That was something that the 'other' lawyers were not willing to do for me.

My case lasted for about a year, and the end result was what I had prayed for -- DISMISSED!
