I was hired at the Knapp Law Office as the Office Assistant two weeks ago. So far, I have been training on the tasks I will be carrying out in the office. My wife has a CDL and was caught speeding over the limit where you can literally lose your CDL. If that were to happen she would lose her job as well. Amazing staff! Love them. They handled my tickets swiftly and communicated well with me. Everything went smoothly. Jason always calls to make sure i know what's going on with my case and the process has been fast and painless. Mr. Knapp handled the courts for me and they took care of everything! I wish I hadn't needed to retain an attorney, but I'm glad I used them.

I retained this firm regarding a traffic ticket three years ago. Their service was extremely helpful, efficient and courteous. I retained them again. Sadly, the 'spouse' of the attorney who works in the office has made this experience a living nightmare. She made an abusive telephone call where she made multiple false assumptions, inaccurate statements and threatened to not complete the services for which the law firm was retained. I feel this law firm can not be trusted to complete the paperwork to finalize this case and a complaint to the state bar association will be initiated.

I didn't pay them 400+ dollars to be yelled at over the phone because I missed a phone call from them. I even called and left a message the day before and they said I didn't. Then the lady looked it up and saw I did in fact call but said I didn't leave them a message even though I did. She then kept yelling at me over the phone to follow the instructions on the email she sent which granted, we could have looked at a little sooner even though we just came back into town after dealing with a family emergency/funeral which we told her and she still kept yelling. Then we saw the email and all it said to do was call her back! Before she hung up she then went on to say if I didn't respond to the email That "that was it I'm on my own with the courts" and this is after we gave them the 75 dollars to defer the payment another whole month. All of this over a failure to use a turn signal like I'm supposed to be worried. I will not be using their services again.

My friend called the Knapp Law Office in response to a voicemail he received. While on the phone he attempted to explain that he was leaving the country for good in a few days and wanted to know what his options were considering he may not be back for a long time. Rather than simply tell my friend what he could do, the woman began to *loudly state that he was at fault and she was tired of explaining herself.

After hanging up on the incomprehensible yelling, my friend asked that I drive him to the office so that he could try once again to tie up his loose ends while in the country. When we entered, my friend went to the lady in front who he said was always very nice to him. I stayed near the front door until a *loud and rude voice asked if they could help me. My friend heard this, entered the side room and immediately apologized for the phone call but needed to get some answers. I continued to stand in the front near the window to this room where I had a clear view. This lady, who proudly announced she was Mr. Knapp’s wife, *loudly restated that she was tried of repeating herself before kind of staring at him with a frown. She went on a rant about how her foot was in a brace, she drives all the way from Fort Worth where she lives and that she works long hours because she cares so much for her clients who “don’t even care about themselves”.

She asked my friend why he couldn’t understand what she said on the phone since she was so tired of repeating herself and he calmly told her that it was because of the yelling. At this point she screams “This is what yelling sounds like! I was not yelling!” before going back to her standard *loud speaking voice. She finally retells him what he needs to know by first saying that his English speaking is good, but she hopes he listens when he has to speak with the judges who “will really yell”. She had paperwork she planned to mail him, but she said she could just give them to him as she slammed them on her desk.

Finally my friend comes out and I stand there just to make sure he got all the info he needs before we leave. The lady then yells at us through the window to “get off [her] property” and then suggested/threatened to “personally escort” us out seeing as we were “trespassing”. As we left, she came racing out the door to yell that we were never to return or she would have us arrested. Why she thinks either of us would want to hang out with her again is beyond me.

I am not even a client and this woman both yelled at me and threatened me in less than 30 seconds. I was actually nodding when she listed what my friend did wrong because, although upsettingly rude and *loud, she made valid points. So, I was sympathizing with her because she may work hard for her clients and she may have health problems and she may have a terribly commute, and maybe it was just a really bad day for her. However, I have never witnessed such an unprofessional attitude in real life. Once we were out of the parking l asked my friend how he remained so unbelievably calm while someone screamed in his face and insulted him numerous times in a span of about 5 minutes and he quietly states “because I’m not American”. As someone who has to actually be polite to customers, or I lose my job, I’m still in shock this all happened. I have since found out her name is Judith Knapp.

I work primarily in and around Denton County and have been stopped and cited by at least three towns in the past year. Within minutes of receiving a Citation from some hot head rookie cop, Knapp Law Office is the first call i make for Legal Representation. Time and time again Mr. Knapp has gotten me a deferral and kept my record Squeaky Clean and my Insurance affordable. Judy is always a joy to speak with and is ever so knowledgable In her field and very prompt in returning phone calls and extremely professional with Clientele. Im sort of oblivious to Traffic laws by Definition so Judy takes the time to explain the legal process to me and what makes somebody eligible for a deferral or whatever the nature of the case may be. About a year ago i was cited for going 2-3 Over in a school zone set at 20 and Technically was not supposed to get a deferral but to my Surprise, i received a phone call from Jason one morning to tell me that i wouldn't have to worry and that my Citation was to be deferred. I don't plan on being cited in the Future But should i get stiffed by some hotshot police officer, knapp law will be the First phone call i make for legal representation.

Great Results

I received a speeding ticket and retained the Knapp Law Office to represent me. In short, Mr Knapp and his professional staff exceeded my expectations. Not only did they secure a Deferral, they also secured a reduced penalty and a very short probation period that is limited to the municipality that issued the ticket (as opposed to the entire state). The fee to retain Mr. Knapp along with the reduced penalty was less than what it would have cost to simply pay the ticket. I hope I don't need to hire Mr. Knapp again, but if I do, the Knapp Law Office will be my first and only call.

Nope! They have gone down hill. I've used them several times for the past five years but not anymore. The office mishandles information and it falls on you having to pay more for one simple speeding ticket.

I called and asked about having my record sealed or expunged. I have two misdemeanors from several years ago. One was adjudicated, and the other was plea and bar. I simply wanted to know if I had any options. The first lady was kind, however the lady that called back was extremely rude. She talked so fast and loud it sounded like she was on drugs. I tried to ask a question, and she said I was dumb, then proceeded to call me an "A-hole" for interrupting her. She was constantly talking over me to where I could hardly speak. She then identified herself as Mr. Knapp's wife, and told me again I was dumb and she only calls "dumb people" dumb. I own a successful business I started from scratch, and while I may not be intelligent when it comes to criminal law, I am by no means "dumb." I cannot speak to Mr. Knapp's skill, however, if this experience with his wife is any indication of the law firm, I would steer clear.

These people are amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure I understand what is going on. They guided me through the legal system with compassion and understanding. I have used other attorneys and have never been treated with such professionalism. I hope I never need them again, but if I do, I know they'll be there!

I took a chance on this place based on the few reviews posted. I needed help with tickets/warrants from Gainesville and really didn't know where to turn. I'm so glad I made the phone call. I mostly spoke with Judy, however other staff members did contact me with updates and they were all very nice and professional. What I like most is that this firm is knowledgeable about the law and know what needs to be done to get results. Judy is like an Olivia Pope, when she gets your case,,,ITS HANDLED!! They always kept me informed during the process and within no time at all my tickets were dismissed. Choosing them is an absolute must.

Great experience with this law office. I had several tickets I was trying to deal with and this office did a great job handling my situation in a friendly, professional and timely manner. They also were able to reach a fair resolution for my case. My last dealing with a law office to handle tickets left me weary about trying it again however, after my experience with Knapp Law, I can say for certain they will be my go to guys if I am ever in legal trouble again in the area. I also liked that their office staff took the initiative to initiate follow up communication with me regarding the status of my case. Would recommend.

I left 3 messages and never heard back from the attorney. The day I went to court I asked another person there if they had an attorney. They said finally. But make sure NOT to use Knapp Law Office. They won't return calls and mishandles his 3 tickets. So there's the warning.
