Didn't get a consultation with the lawyer but her staff doesn't communicate very well. What really made me turn my service is that instead of calling me to reschedule me...they emailed me! I was referred by Legal Shield and would've like to at least meet Attorney Overstreet, instead Ms Davis requested that I do a "over the phone" consultation...uh no and I have to pay $100 fee just to consult with her...I'd like to see her face to face. Nevertheless, I called Legal Shield to refer me to someone else. There's no availability to this Law office and it's sad that the staff leaves such a bad taste in people's mouth. Oh well, wish them the best but my services will be better suited else where. Thanks

I wish I could give this firm a zero star. So, they were referred to me by Legalshield because the provider law firm doesn't do employment cases. I hired Overstreet law firm because a company did not treat me fairly, bullied me, and caused a lot of emotional pain and stress on me. After filing with the EEOC and waiting on them 180 days passed. I asked what could we do now. I was told we could file asking the EEOC for the right to sue. This law firm sends me a new fee agreement saying instead of 1/3 of anything collected they were asking for 40% and now I have to pay all fees, which i was told i pay nothing unless we win. So now i ask for us to proceed and i get an email say i need to find a new attorney because they feel i do not have a healthy amount of trust in them. So now i have to start all over. What a waste of time and effort. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAW FIRM. Find a better law firm to represent you.

Ms. Renea Overstreet is one of the best black lawyers in the Fort Worth area. Very down to earth, she takes her client’s cases very seriously. Come check her out.

Excellent attorney with a lot of experience

My experience with Renea was great! She was professional and very easy to work with. My case didn't have a lot of complexity to it but it did encounter a few hiccups from the other party and the judge on my case. She handled everything gracefully and, in the end, got me the results I wanted. I would definitely use her again and highly recommended her to anyone who needs a lawyer for family law.

Renea helped me during a foster care case. She really helped explain what rights my husband and I had during the process. She truly felt like the only person we had on our side during a stressful and emotional process. While we did not gain custody of our foster child, I still felt much better having Renea as an advocate.

Renae, was the most compassionate person out of all the lawyers I had consulted. The first thing that came out of thier mouths was "I can get you this much money" but not Renea. I would recommend her to anyone and I did. The person that went to her feels the same way I do. If you need a lawyer, she's the the best!!!

I should know - Attorney Overstreet was my third lawyer. I’ll be honest, things weren’t looking good for my case.

I would give zero stars if it were an option because that’s what this firm did for me, nothing. I hired Renea for a child support case and she gave little help or counsel. She failed to show up to my court appearance and did not represent me in the least bit. However she had no issues cashing my check. In the end I represented myself and ended up getting my child support and back child support dropped. Look I’m not saying she’s not good at her job, I’m saying I don’t know if she is or not because she never worked for me. Based on my experience I would not recommend this firm.

It’s kind of impossible to tell me what my experience was and I stand firm in saying nothing in our correspondence added to the resolution of my case. Renea Overstreet was completely what I needed for my divorce. Especially when things got kinda heated and some ridiculous demands were being made. She stayed calm and even more important kept me calm. She even put a stop to my ex post nasty things about me on social media, where my kids could easy read everything he said about me.
No divorce is perfect, but Renea sure made it easier. And I would use her all over again if I had to!
