There are few family lawyers that are the quality and caliber of Lauren Cain. I faced her with very strong facts on my side and she did NOT give up fighting for her client. I was genuinely impressed. She was also honorable and good to deal with when we worked to find solutions to one of the most difficult cases of both her career and mine. We fought valiant battles in court and ultimately settled in a way that ended the fighting between our clients. But I can not say enough good things about her as an attorney. She is absolutely top-notch. Smart. Intelligent. Knowledgable. And a fighter who won't quit. I'd hire her to represent my own loved ones. Mrs. Cain represented me in a very complex case of parental alienation a year after my divorce was final. She worked diligently with me for over 15 months! We had to try several different approaches including a Parent Facilitator and Amicus Attorney. In the end the judge granted a full flip. I am now the primary custodian of my three young children with the exclusive rights to all the major decisions in their lives. This type of case takes a LOT of time, money & patience! She lies, tells her clients to lie under oath and does not know the meaning of the word professional! Insulting, arrogant and manipulative. She will surly reap what she sows. By the way, she is unrecognizable in this picture, in person she looks extremely OLD!

I was considering divorce and had no idea where to turn or what to do after 26 years of marriage. I searched online and chose Lauren Cain based on what I read about her practice and after talking with her assistant Barry. I was not disappointed when I met with her. She consulted with me and showed such care and compassion and re-assured me that she would help me. I waited several months before I had the nerve to actually file and she was even more reassuring and caring. She represented me with complete professionalism. She fought for fairness in our division of property and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I went to Lauren when I felt my prior attorney wasn't hearing me and didn't seem concerned at all that my ex appeared to be on illicit drugs - no matter what evidence I brought him. Lauren listened to my concerns and immediately took action to ensure he was tested properly. My kids are safe now and this would not have happened without Lauren Cain! I was referred by my friend friends.This was the worst mistake ever. She is very unprofessional, she doesn't return calls. Once i obtained her as my divorce attorney I paid her in full immediately. In the process of her not responding to any of my correspondence my husband decided to go to counseling and put off the divorce. She finally reached out to me and I updated her of the situation and requested an invoice of what she had done (which was nothing)! And the remaining balance this was in December t is now February and I am still waiting! Each month a different excuse! Do not hire this lady! Run fast!

I hired Lauren Cain for a child custody case, from the start she was very easy to get a hold of and very understanding of all my needs. She was very big on finding all the details of the case and getting prepared for the case. During our time in court she had everything set and ready, this was our first temporary hearing. Everything went fast and easy, temporary orders were set and with her hard work there was no need to go to court again as both parties agreed on a final. During a stressful time like this it is great to have someone on your side that is willing to go the extra mile to help. I could not have made it through everything with out her by my side. I have read the other reviews blasting her and I would have to say that they are way off. I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone, seems to me that some of the negative reviews are just people who lost to her in court.....

Wow, The reviews I've read so far are very pathetic. If she makes the opposition this mad for what she does, isn't that her job? Isn't it her job to not be impartial and do what she is paid to do? I am from Ohio. She took on my case pro bono! I didn't even know what that meant. She called me back immediately, and has done everything she said she would do. We stay in contact by email, which is fine with me. Lawyers are very busy, and its difficult to get any of them on the phone because of that. I would hire her in a second, and If I have any more problems from my ex (which im sure I will) I will be hiring her ASAP!! I had to drive all the way from Ohio to Texas to appear in court for really no reason at all. I was in fear of not getting my son for the summer. I had just lost my father. The one thing I needed was someone to care! I had little funds. She read the order and was blown away. She said to me, Just get here on your court date, and you will be going home with your son. She was right! How do you thank someone for that? How do repay them even if they get full compensation? Whatever she charges, its not enough. After talking to her, I finally slept for the first time in weeks! I am now finishing my summer with my son and that would NOT have happened if it were not for her! The hate placed on her from these other reviews should be expected, seeing how she beat them in a court of law. Which is exactly what everyone should want. Instead of blaming her, they should blame their own lawyers! I ignored the reviews and called her, and I suggest others do the same. I am not a friend of hers. I am not a family member. I am a client and I am grateful I came across such a powerful woman! You want someone that knows the law? Trust me! She knows the law!! and she has a heart to boot. What more can you ask for? HIRE HER!! You will get calls, you will get responses. You will be taken care of by a professional.

This attorney is only a symptom of the corruption prevalant with the Collin County court system. This is a woman who claims to want to help the custodial parent get an equitable amount of child support during a divorce proceeding, yet represents deadbeat non-custodial parents and claims they have no job or assets, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. This attorney tells blatant lies within the courtroom and has absolutely no shame. I have serious questions about her mental stability. To those considering an attorney in a family law matter, I would strongly recommend staying away from Ms. Cain!

Ms. Cain was the opposing counsel in my divorce. Exactly as per the other reviews, I can confirm she held up the process: never in any office, didn't return phone calls, unresponsive to email and fax from my attorneys office. She was ALWAYS "out of town" or "on vacation". Once we were able to agree on our own and had a prepared final agreed decree - she was unresponsive. I found her to be unprofessional and very unimpressive. I would strongly recommend anyone considering her to continue their search elsewhere.

I would somewhat agree with the other reviews. Helping someone with their divorce, she made the decree to benefit the other party more than the party she represented, some of it including alimony insisting on only filing it to help the other party and loss of a huge tax deduction. She is very hard to get ahold of, or get any return calls.

DO NOT USE HER!!ONCE SHE RECEIVED MY RETAINER SHE PROLONG MY CASE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I HAD TO THREATEN HER WITH THE BAR ASSOCIATE TO RECEIVE A RETURN CALLS. AFTER SEVERAL MONTH OF WAITING AND WAITING. I HAD TO FILED MY OWN PAPERWORK AND REPRESENT MYSELF. SHE IS ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY!!!!
