Gordwin Law came to us as one of a few firms on the Hyatt Legal plan from Banner Health Care. I called 5 different firms and determined to meet with Gordwin Law first. My wife and I meet with Ursula. Extremely unprofessional... from the beginning, I had a feeling she did not have my husband's best interest at heart. She showed up late to the hearing without a phone call or email. When she rushed in, she had no idea who her "client" was, mistook him for someone completely different, different name, different citation. Because of her disorganized nature, she went into the hearing not fighting for the best interest of my husband, therefore making him settle for the worst. This happened a couple years ago, and is STILL a major heartache and burden on our family until October of this year, God willing. Over charged for terrible work, zero defense.

Ursula is very meticulous in her work. She explained the Trust process in a way I understood while we went through it. She is prompt in her work and in responding to all my inquiries.

Almost $10 grand for what a public defender would've done for free, only to have phone calls from county jail blocked, while i was still in custody. Not exactly pleased with the representation i wound up paying too much for. Definitely wouldn't recommend if your freedom is on the line.

I was referred to Ursula, after I had hired a previous attorney 7/16 of last year. The previous lawyer received payment, but nothing for me. This snowballed into a nightmare. I'm grateful to have a quality and professional attorney that produces results. I highly recommend her as an attorney.

If the receptionist who answers the phone could keep her mouth closed long enough for a potential client to explain what his/her needs are, Ms Gordwin could assist many MANY more folks.
The receptionist is, unfortunately, unable to listen more than she speaks which is not only a huge annoyance but is also counter productive and selfish.

Terrible. Misleads clients into thinking that you're going to get a lower sentence. Overcharged for barely any work down. Overall, she's also just very rude. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
