Very professional team. No overpromising, the team spent a good amount of time with me on the phone explaining the case and how it would be processed, how the court hearing went, without me feeling like they wanted to hang up as it is common with attorneys.

The team also followed up with me many times to make sure I would do the driving school. At this point, it was almost babysitting. But I kept my driver’s license thanks to them.

Getting a ticket is stressful. It only helps when you know you can get the best legal representative. A lot of lawyer's (like AA) say they know the courts because they started out as prosecutor's but Christopher Corso is the only one I feel can really deliver on that claim. This firm gets a lot of cases, so the secret is out about their success rate. If you are lucky enough to retain them, you will know soon why.

The case I had involved 3 citations (moving violations) all relating to a single event. Lots of fines and lots of points were at stake. The process Mr. Christopher Corso follows was very effective in my case. The judge dismissed all 3 charges! Ms. Joanna Novarese was the main contact on my case and kept me apprised every step of the way and followed up with all of my questions and concerns. Everything was accomplished with a high degree of professionalism.

With my job if that were to happen I would be fired so I took the plea. After my experience with this firm I am extremely disappointed (I wish I could put zero stars). For the duration of my time with Corso Law Group, which was a short amount of time, I can say that after the start of services things started to go downhill QUICKLY. I spoke to the attorney 2x (never returned my calls) in this time and it was very brief both times. EXTREME lack of communication. They did go see my fiancé, who was incarcerated, immediately but that was the most time efficient task done during this time. My fiance and myself decided to terminate the client-attorney relationship and after that things, all of a sudden, started to get done (phone calls, motions filed, etc...) even though we specifically stated that we had new counsel.

This was the tip off the iceberg for this negative review.**
I found it interesting in my final phone call with the firm, that they were making negative comments in regards to our new counsel ("never heard of them," "If they do it faster than us don't expect him to get out," etc...). As a professional, you just don't do that. They gave us little hope for our future with the case. Told us he was looking at a LOT of time. Well surprise, a week after discharging the relationship from this firm, he was home with no additional jail time and probation!
Mr. Corso also made two comments that stood out to me "we are all human" and "it's not about the money for us." I found that to be completely disturbing due to the lack of empathy being shown. Yes we are all human, I paid a large amount of money up front in a timely manner and was told I would not get this money back for 30 days! For "not being about the money" that is completely excessive in the amount of time needed to refund my money. Yes we are all human, we all have bills to be paid and a life to be able to live being that we have the finances to support ourselves. I asked if there was a chance for it to be returned to me in a timely manner and was basically told, you'll get it in 30 days read your contract. The manager was very rude in her responses.
**I failed to get the check in the mail until I WENT to Arizona (From New Mexico) and picked it up ourselves after they "sent it" two times. Also, the charges on my accounting were ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. (2 were the the biggest of fraud accounting) They charged us for a 3 hour jail visit which he only saw my fiance for 30 minutes tops and literally only had my fiance sign papers and spoke very briefly. (I know it does not take 3 hours total with drive time because I google mapped it and drove it myself). They charged us 2.5 hours for court, which he was LATE and only continued the court date. He also disclosed that he "was attending other court sessions for other clients, but out of the 15 minutes he was there we got charged for him being there for everyone. MONEY HUNGRY!

All of this aside, thanks to our NEW counsel, my fiancé is now home and I am VERY happy with the decision I made to terminate services with Corso Law.

Much to our surprise, We also found this out about the attorney with Corso who was assigned to our case.

James N. Hankey, Phoenix, was suspended for violating Rule 42, ARIZ.R.S.CT., specifically ERs 5.5 and 8.4(b).
Mr. Hankey intentionally used methamphetamines for approximately two years. He negligently engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while he was summarily suspended for not paying bar dues.

Aggravating factor: Illegal conduct, including that involving the use of controlled substances.
Mitigating factors: full and free disclosure to
disciplinary board or cooperative attitude toward proceedings, absence of prior disciplinary record, chemical dependency, and remorse.

This law firm was excellent. They handled all of my issues and were able to get a solid resolution on my behalf. I would highly recommend them.

They dont keep in contact with you at all. Dont tell you whats going on and are very rude when you call them.

Atty Damon Petrehn was exceptional. I felt like I was fighting a losing battle with my photo radar but I was desperate so I thought I would take a chance, boy am I glad I did. He got a complete dismissal. his office staff was great and he exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Atty Petrehn to anyone dealing with a traffic offense, he was worth every penny.

My attorney was Damon Petrehn. He was GREAT! Super friendly, made me feel important. He took care of everything for me and just told me when to show up for court. I had to go to court in Kingman, AZ. In 2013, I was falsely accused of something I did not do. I was given Mr. John Rhude's number and was told he came highly recommended. I made my first appointment with Mr. Rhude and his associates. After briefly talking to them I knew i needed the Law office of Corso & Rhude on my side. John Rhude won my case. I have to say that during that time I made numerous calls to John. He is a wonderful, caring and patient man. He was never rude to me and he got back to me as soon as he could. At times I would bring family members with me for support. He was just as supportive, caring and understanding to them as he was to me. I never left his office feeling that he couldn't win or that he didn't understand me, John always kept me up to date on what was going on and that made me feel like we were working together. When I first went in to see John, I was in pretty rough emotional shape. I had made a huge error in judgement and that was compounded by other personal issues. I needed help from an number of perspectives. John took the time to befriend me first, we found a common thread quickly and that helped ease my pain. We moved to our business and I felt I had put my case in very capable hands. We have only just begun to go down this road but I feel confident that he and his firm will not only represent me to the best of their combined professional ability, but that I have a friend beside me as well.

As the previous reviewer stated, "irresponsible and unprofessional" is the correct terminology to describe the experience I had with my divorce case through this firm. Throughout the long, difficult months there were miscommunication issues between their staff and the over-riding theme was always centered on money, which they made sure was quickly cleared. I spent over $7800 for a divorce case that never even went to court and for a situation where very little work needed to be done to divide assets or fight over children. The staff who take care of billing make rude calls and can't keep straight commitments on payments or are being pressured by the executives; I was called the day after Christmas to ask when I could make another payment even though at least $2000 was still in the account as a retainer; I committed to another $1000 payment the last week of January. This was after a mediation conference a few weeks before when both attorneys sat in silence while I as the custodial parent did all the talking; the attorneys did not bother to make any defense to this mother as agreements on <40% of the calculated child support were made from the parent who had provided no support whatsoever in the 9 months of separation prior to filing the divorce. After several months of useless discussions over phone conferences scheduled by paralegals, the attorney decided to file a "motion to withdraw" leaving me hanging at the very end of the case. In the interim of 3 business days, they received the payment I had promised but still did not undo the "motion to withdraw" so I was left extremely distraught while trying to keep myself together at a very stressful job. With no clue what to do, I paid another attorney a consultation fee who finally got through to them after 3 tries and demanded that the young attorney finish the case or possibly be under the watchful eye of the bar. Divorce is not what this firm specializes in and I was given an attorney with approximately 1 year of experience, primarily in criminal law, for close to $8000. To prove that they do not communicate with each other, I received an obnoxious thank you letter after the case closed that actually asked for referrals!!! They make rash decisions that can compromise the mental health of their clients. Unless you enjoy dumping your money in a dumpster and having your fate in the hands of untrustworthy characters, I would tell you to RUN the other way and don't fall for the "free" consultation. It really is ALL about the money for this law firm that lives up to their name.

As one can guess, those who do not get the "hopped for" result from their case view their attorney’s service as a waste of money. Needless to say by my review, I was not that client.

From the start, I was approached by Mr. Rhude and experienced nothing but top notch professionalism. He is a gentleman and a family man like me. I expected excellence (for a price of course, you get what you pay for) and I saw nothing less. I was always kept in the loop throughout the process and will be sure to refer business to this firm as I work with many high profile colleagues and clients. Additionally, I will use Corso & Rhude again should I need future representation.

I think that these lawyers have done a horrible job for the amount of money they charge. Didn't really help out at all. I think we would have been better to find a different lawyer who charged after they accomplished the task not before. What has $8,000.00 gotten us. Maybe 6-10 hours of time. Nothing has been gained by hiring this firm. Sometimes I get the feeling that they are just as bad as the Pinal county policemen that started this whole mess.

This firm will gladly take your $1500 with promises of investigating the charges. They pushed my court date out 4 months and nothing else. The lawyer who appeared with me spoke to me once over the phone two days prior to trial for 5 minutes. He was late to the scheduled hearing and all four of the clients he represented that day plead guilty. On November 27, 2013 he promised to email me the instruction for my traffic class and I just recieved his email today, 12/12/2013. Save your money because despite what the secretary of this firm told me I watch the judge offer other speeding offenders the same diversion program as a first time offender. I would have been better served had I given those funds to a charitable cause.
