Was extremely rude and disrespectful. Said he would do one thing months ago then turned around and went against his word. Was very aggressive. Walked out very unhappy.

This man was horrible to a family member of mine.. I wouldn't send anyone to him. I'm sure he has done great things for others who have used his services, but the way he acted was wrong and unforgivable.

This is our first time using this attorney for filing bankruptcy and he explained himself thoroughly the steps and procedures on filing bankruptcy.

John R. Hooge law firm was referred to me by a very trust worthy friend who has never steered me wrong. So it was easy to make the initial call. Actually going to the appointment was a whole another issue. When I arrived for my appointment terrified, nervous, no idea of what to expect, I was greeted by a person that made feel like I had known them all my life. Instantly the fear started to subside and I thought at least the staff was not mean or judgmental. With no idea of how bankruptcy works, ashamed that I had let things get to this point I was looking for non-judgmental understanding, positive outlook and true support. Walked into this office with no hope, full of despair, ashamed, embarrassed, scared, emotional..pretty tough for someone who had lived their life doing the right thing, paying their bills, working hard, raising children to do the right thing, but life happened, job position elimination, lower wages but the bills continued. Pride always stood in my way.. for four years I kept telling myself- I can handle this but it kept getting worse... Bankruptcy happened to other people, not me....Well it DID happen to me and I am very thankful that I had the courage to walk into John Hooge's office and get the help that I needed! This office is filled with compassionate, caring individuals that do NOT pass judgement. John and Nicole were always there to answer any questions or concerns that I had.
