Christena Silvey is the most incompetent lawyer I have ever had. She allowed my child support case to be drug on for 2 yrs. I only wanted a reduction in the child support as I lost my job and was not making the amount of money I had previously. She said having a stay put on my case wouldn’t cause any back pay in child support. I ended up having to pay more than I can afford plus the two years back pay. Christena would never get back to me in a timely manner and when she would get back to me it felt as though she was giving me threats and ultimatums rather than helping me. It seemed as though she was working for my ex. She never once treated me with respect or dignity. She only made me feel as though I was a dead beat dad trying to get out of paying child support which I had been paying continuously without missing one payment for the past 15 years. The case ended up taking so long that a trial was being considered if we couldn’t come up with an agreement. She wanted $1500 more to take it to trial which I had spent all the money I had retaining her, which was $1200. DO NOT hire her for anything. Especially if you are a man.

Total waste of time. You set up an appointment at 230. They say they will call you back but instead don't and close early.

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible experience! As soon as she had my retainer she stopped working on my case! Then come to find out she didn't even have jurisdiction to take my case. She wanted my money, once she got it she disappeared, didn't work on my case, wouldn't provide me with where my money was going or how it was being used... $5K!!! When I asked for my money back because of lack of jurisdiction she only gave me 3k...Don't use her! RUN to ANYONE else!

Reading the reviews above makes me wonder about people. Mrs. Coleman was nothing but professional in every aspect of my case. Ultimately, we won our case. The outcome was what was right and legal, even though I wanted blood. She did an excellent job explaining what I wanted and what was the law weren't exactly the same! It makes me think some people have unrealistic expectations when in fact Christena is merely doing her job. I wish I could give her 10 stars. She really is fantastic.

DO NOT HIRE HER!!! $3500 retainer and couldn’t even respond back to emails in a timely manner. She was a waste of time and money. Took forever to get our retainer back. Oh and she hired the petitioners lawyer and didn’t tell us. We found out when we had a phone consultation with our new lawyer!
