Cody was phenomenal. I spoke with EVERY lawyer in NWA after I received a reckless speeding ticket. I had a few other tickets on my driving record so I could have been facing jail time. One of the lawyers I had contacted actually told me that he guarantees I get jail time and that there was nothing he could do. He said “you can pay me $500 to go plead you not guilty but there’s nothing else I can do”. It wasn’t a simple speeding ticket by any means. I called Cody and got his opinion on the matter and he was straight forward with me and laid out all my options. He told me that if I were to end up doing jail time, it was because he tried everything he could and he didn’t have any other options left. I hired Cody W. Dowden to defend my best friend in court from several minor probation violations and to get him out of jail as soon as possible. We hired Cody to handle cases in 2 different counties for us. One case was an older one that hadn't been taken care of with multiple misdemeanor charges and the other was one big felony charge. Let me start by saying never once did I have to wait more than an hour or two for a response and honestly probably less than that. Prices were very fair and was able to set up a payment plan to help out. He was very quick to get me any info or answer any questions I might've had. Cody did an excellent job defending my son. He is a minor who was stopped for going over double the speed limit. It was a Class C misdemeanor charge. He was potentially facing a 6 month license suspension, 6 months of community service, probation, a $500 fine and a criminal record. Cody was able to plead the speed down so that it was no longer a criminal charge. My son got a $100 fine plus court costs, 16 hours of community service, 8 hours of work detail, and no license suspension at all. There is absolutely no way we could have walked away with that outcome had it not been for Cody. He was worth every penny!
