I was very pleased with the work Brian and his team provided for me. I had a small child support/maintenance issue that needed to be cleared up in the court and Brian always made me feel like he had my best interests in mind. He or someone from his office was always prompt to return a call or email and never left me waiting or wondering. I would recommend Brian anytime. Very professional and easy to work with.

If you would like to be lied to, have information kept from you and lose your case, then he is definitely the attorney you need.

My name is Lisa Coates, I hired Brain Risley to represent me in my divorce and I am so glad I did. He did a great job, he always answered my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. He kept me informed through the whole process. Tamarisk was awesome also. She brought papers to my place of work on her lunch break when I was unable to get time to go by the office to sign the papers because of my work schedule. I highly recommend to anyone to hire Brian to represent you. You will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a great attorney that really doesn’t leave you hanging and gets right back to you Brian is where you can stop looking. He always answered back and listened to all concerns. Brian and Tamara took a very stressful situation and walked us through everything we needed to do. Even if we didn’t agree we did what they said and it always turned out just how they said. Thank you both for walking us through everything we needed to do for a little person that is more precious then you could realize and never leaving us hanging. If we need anyone in the future you will definitely be who we call. Thank you again for everything!

Brian was awesome and worked tirelessly to ensure my divorce was handled in my best interest. He always responded immediately when I needed to ask questions and often worked late nights to take care of things that were critical to my case. I could not be more satisfied with his service and the outcome of my case! I can’t recommend him highly enough for all of the great work he did for me!

This attorney is difficult to work with based on the fact that he does not respond to emails or advocate on your behalf unless you really bother him. About a year ago I brought weapons on base in fort leonarwood. Mr. Risley was trying to get me to take a plea deal with captain smothers but I refused to have a federal misdeamoner charge on record and only then did he advocate on my behalf when I was adamant on not taking the plea deal. When Mr. Smothers said he would dismiss charges, I asked when I would get my weapons back and he told me let's wait a little bit and let Mr. Smothers have some breathing room. Fast forward 1 year, I still don't have my weapons and Mr. Risley has not pressed Mr. Smothers hard enough to give them back to me. He is no longer answering my emails. Mr Smothers is no longer the prosecuter at fort leonarwood. I tried contacting Mr. Smothers personally but he will not talk to me because I have an attorney that doesn't answer emails. So now I'm stuck having to hire another attorney possibly just to get my weapons out from the evidence custodian because Mr Risley has not gone above Mr Smothers boss or whoever is in charge to advocate on paperwork to release them to me. I highly recommend you tred lightly when considering hiring this lawyer.

I had this attorney for a year all he did was try and trick me to take a plea deal on a case I was not good for I stood on what I knew was right and the drug came with a not guilty verdict not due to me Risley due to I was innocent
But even though I was innocent me risley was truly working with the government and all he was concerned with was getting a check this has to be the worst attorney in the state of Missouri

Mr. Risley is one of the best choices you can make if you have a family/child custody case. I have worked with him many times - he knows the law, he is a fierce advocate for his clients, and he knows how to help people who are in a tough spot. I highly recommend that you meet with him if you have a contested family case.

Brian is a good guy to talk to. He will answer your questions and he is kind. If you need someone with experience, that won't charge you an arm and a leg for a consultation, give him a whirl. Consultation was 50 dollars, and his retainer is generally closer to 1200.
