When she was in court however. When it came down to a couple important trial dates that she’d known about in advance, she’d send in another attorney for her without even letting me know. When you’ve put your time into explaining things to your attorney so they understand and can represent you accurately only for them to not show up in court, Is upsetting. In the beginning, she answered my calls etc. until she got her retainer for not only one, but two custody cases at the time. Immediately one of the custody cases was dropped and other than initial reply stating I had an attorney, nothing happened on the case because it was literally just dropped, however my retainer never returned. The second case, we went to court once, maybe twice. Just hearings to schedule future hearings at this point and finally I decided it was going no where with her. Countless emails Unreplied to, calls, messages etc. Then when all was said and done and I asked her for an itimized bill for both cases, she ignored me multiple times. Her staff was very rude as well regarding the matter. I’m assuming because it’s known that no where near the amount of work was done on the case / cases and considering the first one was immediately closed yet she held two full retainers for two cases. I’ve yet to see a bill. I’ve yet to see $1 back.
