I set up an appointment recently with Bob to discuss a friends issues with multiple credit card accounts that had been opened fraudulently. Help During a Difficult Time

No one wants to declare bankruptcy, Bob was kind and considerate throughout the entire process. We had a lot of questions and wanted to be as discrete as possible, he helped us through without making us feel ashamed or embarrassed. He knew all of the paperwork each step of the way, we were never concerned with his knowledge or abilities. We can still call with questions years later and find him to be the same kind and helpful man.

The worst experience I could have imagined. Bob seemed lost, kept forgetting things, and even showed up to court late. If your situation is complicated at all, go somewhere else.

I came to Bob and I was at the point of giving up... It was do or die for me.... Bad credit happened to a good person. I married into debt and after the divorce I was ruined and destroyed, without ever having a credit card or a home loan. I had plenty of hospital bills. Additionally, and because I know Bob cannot reply and respond to a review to counter and present his point of view without compromising the confidentiality of that client, I would speak somewhat to that review left by a gentleman who was unsatisfied after receiving a request from the DOJ. If the DOJ decided to audit this person's case, it is one of those scenarios where this is not something that the attorney did wrong. At times, the saying goes: "Where there's smoke, there's fire." And I don't know whether this person did anything improper, but the case got audited by the US Trustee's office and could have been for good reason, but this does not necessarily reflect on the attorney.

I met with Robert Doig regarding a Chapter 13 but shortly after we met, he determined that it might not actually be the best course of action for me. I found him to be honest, dependable and he really looked out for my best interest...even when it involved referring me in a different direction. My experience with this firm was very positive. Thanks to Mr Doig's professionalism in his area of expertise, I was able to go from being reluctant to even take this action, to being completely at ease and even comfortable throughout the entire process.

Mr Doig was able to reassure me that entering into a bankruptcy while being a homeowner was not the risk I feared so much before speaking with him. And even though for me, bankruptcy was a last option, he put me at ease and my discomfort and embarrassment soon dissipated.

Mr Doig's firm really works with helping their clients reestablish their credit. And with the required financial training I feel I am on more secure footing that ever before. I would definitely recommend this firm for those who find themselves with this need.

Bob has a very nice disposition. However, dispite all the glowing reviews here and other sites my experience was very bad. My Chapter 7 never should have been filed, it lead to a DOJ investigation, which cost an extra 500 dollars (26 areas of incorrect information in the filing) and literally a reem of paper to answer, of which I did all the research, compiling of docments, writing of statements, etc... For $500 Bob put it in an envelope and mailed it to the DOJ Forensic Accountat's office of the DOJ.
The Chapter 13 filing was just as bad. Again there are incorrect information entered, missing information, information entered in the wrong areas, tables not referenced properly, means test improperly completed... the list goes on. His response is that his paralegal fills out the forms... no accountability on his part. So for nearly a year of going through this with Bob, I'm absolutly no where in my case and it cost me over $2400. Since he "botched" (his word) the Chapter 7 he said he'd do the Ch. 13 for no charge. Well that didn't work out either, he wanted an additionsl $2000 to file the Ch. 13, which was strewn with mistakes. I do not recommend Bob for any legal services. You may as well be doing it yourself.

Mr. Doig let no stone un-turned in working with us. We had no surprises, we were well informed, his timing of the process was extremely accurate, and his office processes were very pleasant. I highly recommend Mr. Doig to anyone needing legal services.

I was going through a divorce and filing for bankruptcy at the same time, he answered quite a few questions from me, my now ex-wife, and my divorce attorney throughout a nine month long process from when I had decided to file for bankruptcy and when I actually could file.
