Dan took on my complicated case and gave me such hope and help with dealing all aspects of the divorce and child custody suit. His office staff was also very supportive, encouraging and always there for me when I needed help or advice. I could not have gone through this without them. In court, Dan explained every aspect of the proceedings, so I was comfortable and less stressed. He also took the time to talk to people who had come to support me, or be a witness. The other factor in his representing me, was that he works with me financially so that it's easier to pay his fees on a monthly basis which makes my life as a single mother less stressful. He always made sure I was ok with any decisions and explained things so I could understand the entire situation.

Anyone who thinks an attorney doesn’t enjoy getting paid is just naive. You don’t go to college for 7 years to make 20,000$ a year. Keep it real. Mr. Noffsinger is the most professional and understanding attorney I’ve ever met. He doesn’t call all the time, he has his secretaries call because...well I’d rather pay 10$ for a phone conversation versus 200$ for a phone conversation. I met with Dan two years ago for my initial consultation. I was so impressed with his presence, how he listened and understood my circumstances. At the time, when I walked away, I didn't have peace in my heart to move forward with filing for divorce just yet. However, two years later and zero improvement in my marriage, I knew I needed representation throughout my divorce, so I called Dan up and asked for another consultation. I’ll like to first start by saying I don’t write reviews but i give credit where it’s due. Dan was a phenomenal attorney and did exactly what I hired him to do. Expensive but got things done!!!! Hahahaha.....Both Dan & his staff kept me updated throughout my case, very responsive to my phone calls & emails and got me exactly what I asked for. I was fighting for my daughter for almost 8 years and wanted full custody. Dan was well prepared and put the other attorney & party to shame! As one would imagine going through a divorce is not an easy process -mentally, emotionally, or legally. However, after finding Sarah and Daniel, the legal portion became the easiest part. At the beginning of the divorce process, I interviewed five attorneys in the Colorado Springs area based on recommendations I received from friends who had been through the divorce process. My priorities involved custody issues and obtaining a parenting plan that would enable me to regain a sense of freedom in my own life apart from my ex’s attempts to exert control over me.

After interviewing attorneys and speaking with several women, I was told that situations like mine often result in a 50/50 parenting plan, as this seems to so often be the case in Colorado. My ex had a history of hospitalizations due to mental health issues and addiction but had been displaying some improvement immediately before and during the divorce process. The attorney I initially hired suggested that I agree to 50/50 and let my ex “screw it up.” As she described her strategy, she explained how in going to court with men who have personality types like my ex, it would be important not to “hit the beehive.” After over a decade of married life avoiding the “beehive” and fearing consequences resulting from asking what I wanted in the relationship, I was tired of passively going along with my ex’s demands.

I was fortunate to learn about Dan Noffsinger a few weeks prior to my temporary orders hearing. At my consultation, Dan had come directly from court and stayed late at the office to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. From the start, he displayed a unique ability to think strategically about my situation. He validated my concerns regarding safety issues pertaining to my ex and our children. It was obvious during my consultation that Dan was not only intelligent and possessed tremendous knowledge about the legal process, but he also approached his work ethically and truthfully. I immediately changed representation after this meeting, which was truly a game changer.

The divorce process involved a PRE and a vocational evaluation, which my ex requested. Throughout the process, the entire staff at Noffsinger Law was kind and compassionate during this stressful time, which for me also included the demands of graduate school. They were incredibly organized and efficient. I felt protected from threats and demands from my ex. I recall Jana even taking the time to provide support to worried grandparents!

I appreciated how I was simply told to “tell the truth” when it was time for me to testify. There were no discussions about how to make my ex look bad or in any way manipulate the truth. Dan and Sarah did an excellent job of balancing my desired outcome with what would be realistic and in my best interest to ask for in the context of court. My ex’s attorney went to court and let him entirely run his own case, which did not go well for him. In the end, I received everything I wanted. Most importantly, this has involved a new sense of peace and freedom for me and the children involved.

Considering the financial aspect of the process, my divorce ended up costing about half of what I expected. The team was efficient and very reasonable with billing, only billing for partial hours whenever possible. This enabled me to avoid many costs.

Sad to say this and I don't write many reviews, but when we are talking about possibly saving someone thousands then I'll share my experience . I was referred to this office by a friend and it started out great. All I needed was a small modification on a custody agreement. The communication was great and was quickly completed. A few months went by and I wanted to make one more small adjustment to my custody agreement. I emailed Dan and his Sr. Paralegal on July 3rd, 18th, and the 30th. Never once did I receive a response! I messaged the office through their website and waited a week or so, yet still no response. At this point I decided I was done wasting time with this law office so I called them to request my retainer. I was informed by the front desk staff to wait for the end of month statement to come out and that it only takes a couple days to get a check, so I waited.

 

A week after the end of month statement came out I called and left a message stating "I will be there tomorrow in person to pick up a check for my remaining retainer", and I had already sent an email asking for the money back. The office has all my contact info and I never received a call saying DON’T come in since we need to send the request to accounting. I show up and leave empty handed, but was promised by the lady at the front desk (who said she got my vm the first time) that I will get a call once accounting has the request.... I'm still waiting a week later!!!! I emailed Dan directly September 11th asking why I haven't heard from anyone and how long it takes to have a check cut, and no response. I called the office today to check the status and left a message AGAIN. At this point I am not sure this office is even up and running. Thankfully this terrible experience didn't result in any issues with my custody agreement since my ex agreed to the changes! BEWARE

Noffsinger Law specifically Daniel Noffsinger is not a respectable law firm or lawyer. It has been nothing but headache after headache!! Mistake after mistake!! The first mistake being when the the EX was served the wrong paper work and as a result left the state! Lots of unreturned phone calls and emails!! Do not USE Noffsinger law!!

The crew was incredible - above and beyond. Dan was knowledgeable, helpful, honest (even to the point of advising me to potentially not hire him in lieu of moving to a lawyer in a different jurisdiction.) Jana, senior paralegal, was attentive, intelligent, and very kind. Anything family law related, go to Noffsinger.

Contacted Mr. Noffsinger to help respond to a motion that had been filed by my fiances ex wife. We were on a a deadline bc you only have so many days to respond or the motion is considered undisputed. Anyway met with him for a consultation, told him our situation, he gave us a price said he could help. Seemed like a straight up guy and had great reviews so we decided to hire him. Contacted the next week and set an appointment to sign attorney client agreement and pay the retainer. Literally the day before the meeting I get a call from the secretary saying that Mr. Noffsinger reconsidered and felt he couldn't take the case as it was too difficult. Seriously put us in a bind bc we were extremly close to the end of our deadline to respond. Had he been upfront and let us know felt the case was too "difficult" from the beginning we could have spent the time shopping for a more capable lawyer. Just didn't seem very honest or integral.

Hands down THE best family law attorney!
