We had need for an attorney recently on 2 occasions regarding different matters. We went to see Mr. Nelson both times and both times he gave us a free consultation. We found him to be intelligent and pleasant. He seems to be very interested in the best solutions for your problems even if it means not hiring him. I contacted the law office of Jonathan Nelson based on a referral from a friend of mine who is also an attorney. I have since used Mr. Nelson on 3 different occasions for traffic violations the past 4 years. Running a stop sign, speeding (45mph in a 35mph zone) and a minor lane change violation. Jonathan and his staff are very responsive. I never had to wait more than 1 day to hear back from them. Mr. Nelson has impeccable legal writing skills. He did a marvelous job of capturing what we wanted to say, and putting it in legal context, which was clear, concise, and made sense to me, and more importantly to the judge. Jonathan is very able to think on his feet and demonstrated this in front of the judge on more than one occasion. Most importantly, Jonathan is genuinely concerned about his clients. He treated me not as a client, but as a human being. I did interview other attorneys, prior to choosing the Law Office of Jonathan Nelson, and I did not feel the level of experience or sincerity that I felt with this office. These guys are great. When I went to do my divorce and child custody I interview 6 lawyers in Pahrump. I got consults from all of them, Jonathan was the only one of them that actually listened to my whole story, gave me all the time I needed to answer my questions an actually seemed to care what was going on. They were also the only law firm that actually had a human answer the phone. Most of the firms didn't call me back for at least a day. Through the whole process they kept me informed answered questions and got back to me right away. MeChell who runs the front desk was as nice as nice could be and always got me answers and status updates along the whole way. My outcome was great i got what he said we would and I'm now using them for some other stuff and its going great too. I never write reviews, but these guys are amazing!! I had an interesting situation where a cop gave me a citation for "no proof of insurance" When I had insurance, but she didn't want to take it because her "Computer" Said the DMV had me as uninsured. Called them and of course I was fine. Was moving out of state that day so of course I didn't get mail about the supposed court date, the warrant, or the suspension on my license with the FTA charge.

Got pulled over and found out about it all at once. Contacted these guys on the 1st, had my consultation on the 9th, and case is closed on the 23rd!!! Even before the 9th, I heard from someone.

Patricia and Rhonda are great gals and they really make sure you're in the loop and get the job done. If you're on the fence on using them, do it! You won't regret it. The communication and effienceny is well worth it in my book.

A little high priced...but friendly...

Mr Nelson is a kind and caring man and lawyer. He took time to speak to me and when things didn’t go as planned with my case, he made every effort to correct the situation. My case was complicated and there were a lot of changes and unexpected turns but he did a good job throughout to handle things properly. He does get busy and it’s just him so sometimes things may take a little bit but he always makes sure that things get done.
I would hire him again should I be in need of further legal representation. Definitely recommended.

J.k. Nelson took my auto accident claim after it was denied and was dropped from my original lawyer in vegas. They worked very hard to get me the money I deserved.

The most unprofessional law office I’ve ever had to deal with. Mr. Nelson had a very careless approach to my case and there were multiple times I was told I would be called back and wasn’t. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone who is looking for a serious attorney to represent them.

I got speeding ticket at Pahrump, talked to Mary in J.K. Nelson Law and they worked on my case. Here is the court results: had to pay fine in full amount but ticket was amended down to illegal parking with no point and no traffic school. This was what exactly I was looking for.
