It took about three years to get my settlement, but it was fault of the insurance company I was getting the settlement from. But in the end, I received more than expected. I would recommend Bernstein & Poisson to anyone who has been involved in an accident. I was stopped at a red light and two vehicles collided in the intersection and both sound and hit my vehicle. It was totaled and I was hurt. Thank God there are Lawyers like these to help you when you least expect to need one. I can't thank them enough.

I’m can’t believe the experience my husband and I received. We were involved in a rear end car accident in July 2019. The at fault driver assumed full responsibility. We contacted this law firm as a recommendation from a coworker, the day after the accident. They sent over a rep immediately within an hour to our home to sign the paperwork to obtain our business. Fast forward 6 months later we have yet to have a settlement or demand. I have only talked to the assistant Ashley 1 time and was advised they were waiting for medical records. They were so persistent in getting our business but can’t get simple records within 6 months allegedly. When we decided to terminate their services not 1 person that answered the phone could give us information about how to do so, just transfer to attorney Ryan and wait for call back. I was advised in writing by him he would attempt to have attorney fee reduced due to inadequate representation earlier this month (January) so we agreed to have the firm to continue to represent us. To our surprise Jan 15 we received a letter stating they would no longer represent us. They wasted valuable time and is horrible at communicating. They didn’t know the facility my husband received his physical therapy from although I emailed the assistant personally and received confirmation when she received the email. Don’t trust fast talking commercial law firms. The worse experience ever for such a simple case.

It was not bad at all. They made me feel comfortable, and everything was done in a somewhat timely matter.

Even after my vehicular accident where I was rear ended, it was never my intention to pursue the legal route. But after medical bill started mounting, I finally reached out. The time limit to take action was 3 months away which is where it becomes too risky for lawyers to take on and usually don't. Jaimie took my case on anyways. They handled everything from start to finish. I've worked with lawyers in the past for car accidents and hadn't had a good experience. He made it easy and painless, and reached a settlement it in a fraction of the time a previous lawyer years ago took. He also negotiated down one of my medical bills, that way I had some money to cover my other out of pocket medical expenses. Truly grateful. Staff was great to work with as well. Thank you!

Got into an accident January last year and i was pass down from one case handler to another. I had to pick up my medical reports and bills from the chiropractor they recommended that they never contacted 2 months after my session was over. Basically hounding them to get any updates because they never call me. To this day, my case is not settle yet.

I retained counsel for my father Carl Rizzo's case. It was a smaller case but we were always treated really great by Ashley. Everytime we called Ashley and the attorney always returned my phone call and would get answers to all of our questions. They all stayed very patient with my father as he would call regualry. During the litigation process all attorneys were present not someone who we never meet.

I am revising my review from a 1 Star to a 4 Star. I was originally assigned an attorney who was very helpful, but about midway through representing my case she left her position at the office. My case was then transferred to another attorney named Israel. He introduced himself in the very beginning, but then he completely disappeared. I left messages every few days for nearly 2 months asking for a status update on my case. Not 1 return phone call. At this point I started to regret hiring these guys. Even left messages I wanted a new attorney assigned. Still no calls, even from the partners. It took me threatening to file a complaint with the Bar before I finally received an email from Mr. Bernstein. I honestly believe he (Bernstein) may not have been receiving my complaints about Israel, but once he did I was reassigned to Amber as my new attorney. She was absolutely awesome and had a resolution in a very short period of time and met my expectations completely. If it wasn't for Israel being involved, I would have given this office, and especially Amber 5+ Stars. This turned out to be a really good office, but I would caution you to find out who is going to be assigned to your case first. It totally makes a difference in the how smoothly your case goes. Or how frustrated you will be. I know Amber can't take every case load, but I would definitely recommend her to the fullest.

Terrible. I have been waiting almost 2 years for my settlement. They finally calle some band in November saying everything settled and it’s january and not a dime I’ve gotten yet. I call constantly and no one returns my calls. I would never recommend them.

Update!!!! It’s been three weeks since I signed my release for a TINY amount of money due to the fact I was never told where / who to get treatment from when the accident first happened over 2 YEARS AGO. I keep calling and NO ONE returns my calls. They are TERRIBLE to their clients and make me chase them around for a VERY small amount of money. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. That’s how terrible they are.
