Had a car accident and went to Smith Legal Group. Called a bunch of Firms but they all wanted hundreds just to talk to me. Attorney Smith offers free consultations. He took my case and we had a quick and easy settlement. His staff is the best. Very knowledgeable, gave me after hour appointments to accommodate my work schedule. Very very happy with my case start to finish.

Dont waste your money! Go to someone who cares.

Do not go to these Guys they rip you off do not care!

Incompentent attorney. Did not know how to handle basic custody case agreement. Did not ask for basics in the agreement and caused my daughter to lose in many aress. Holidays were never negotiated, this should be a basic in any custody csse. Not being able to see your family member on holidays is heart breaking for all family.

He knows how to fight for his Clients and help them every step of the way, while providing reasonable fees and payment options. He truly is the only Attorney I’d ever trust! So far my meeting with the group has been good, I was giving a free consultation and made aware of things for free that other law groups wanted to charge me for. I haven’t been to court yet with this law firm but I’ll be back with my results. But the beginning was definitely a good for anyone who may be looking for some advice for free. The price is reasonable giving the circumstances as well.

Update: So I went to court today and the attorney was 30 minutes late. The judge was not happy with the lawyer about it but the judge let it slide. First impression is everything and the attorney being late gave me anxiety and made me nervous. The attorney was okay but not the best. However, I will be seeing my child tomorrow thanks to the lawyer taking a stance that I had not seen my child since August. It’s only a temporary order though. I was hoping to get this finish today and get the judge to rule on something but he didn’t. I feel the attorney fight wasn’t hard enough and he didn’t have that dog in him needed in these kind of circumstances. I’m happy I get to see my kid tomorrow but I’m not sure it’s a win because I was given Bi Weekly and have to go to court in 60days. I will be hiring a new legal firm to handle my case so clearly I’m not happy with representation today. If the lawyer had showed up in time we could’ve went over different strategies but he was late and unprepared. This legal firm is overload and will not be able to give your case the time it needs. I did come to this law firm three days before my court date but three days is enough time to prepare a better stance in court and three days is enough time to show up on time. I appreciate this law firm for taking my case but I feel the $500 I spent was wasted. Maybe $300 would’ve been appropriate. If you’re looking for attorney to fight for you this law firm isn’t it and will close its mouth when the judge says to. You need a dog in the court room and someone who won’t be quiet when your rights aren’t being given. My child’s mother did nothing but lie to the judge face and my attorney didn’t do anything about it. It wasn’t no fight. I feel I could’ve represented myself. Today I ended my services with this law firm and will be obtaining Rebecca moving forward. Again, I’m grateful I can see my kid tomorrow but I feeI I could’ve gotten that myself as my child’s mother represented herself. When dealing with these kind of cases, the clients needs to be comfortable and confident, I was the opposite. While I was supposed to be worrying about my court date, I was worried I had been scammed out of $500. I shouldn’t be thinking of that while awaiting to see the judge. It’s already intense situation and extra stress is not good.

So far Kurt & his team have been doing a great job with their preparation & representation. I can sleep a lot easier now knowing that he's not only an expert and a true artist in his craft, but he's also a realist and will not make promises he can't keep or speculate on what a judge will do...and he will help keep your focus on what's right for your case & your family. I think a few of the bad reviews I've seen are pure sour grapes where people didn't pay for his well-earned services or can't understand a successful lawyer like his can't always get back to you at the drop of a dime any time you want, or simply don't follow his advice and it costs them.

To the reviewer that complained that he yawned during consultation -- this man worked on my response that we were forced to file at the last minute all the way to 3:43am and still showed up at 9am hearing with me and met w/ me later inpromptu @ 5pm the same day. I can certainly be empathetic if he's yawning or tired...he's a workaholic machine and WORTH EVERY PENNY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT PROTECTING YOUR FAMILY. His transparent rates on the billing statements are very fair in my opinion. A true good businessman who's compassionate and employs like-minded ppl.

Divorce cases are never pretty, especially when other attorneys muck up the lives and relationships of everyone involved. Mr. Smith re-did my case and got a much more equitable situation for me and more importantly, for my children. He went toe to toe with the highest rated firms in the valley and introduced each of them to fairness and the importance of establishing what is best for the children involved. The judges clearly respect his calm demeanor and take counsel from him. While other attorneys yell, blame, and spew nonsense, Mr. Smith surgically dissects their arguments and has them on their heels at every turn, as they shuffle their papers, rearrange and repackage their performance, Mr. Smith continues to set records straight and lays out his clear message to those who matter and those who decide. Very bad experience. Even though if we had an "signed accord", I paid all the amount cash before they even got to call, everything was easy for them, but they tried to extort money from me, I was in a very desperate situation. They are bad people and they don't care about others. Money and sex harassment!!!!!!! Don't go there!

I had a free consultation with one of the lawyers. While he seemed to know the law well, he spent the whole consultation yawning. Very unprofessional in my opinion...made me feel like my case was boring him from the very beginning. No someone I would want representing me in front of a judge.
