This is my first time and it went by pretty quickly and it was very nice and the staff is very help and thank you.

Wait time pretty long..but worth it@Self Help Center very helpful.

It's Court House so be prepared to go through a metal detector and take off your shoes.

Easy navigation

Always friendly and helpful. Online resources and access to print from their computers for your case is great.

It is impossible to get them on the phone and once you do go in there and spend an hour waiting they are really willing to do much to help

You might encounter a big, unfeeling man at the main information desk. He has been there for too long and sits miserably handing out numbers, you will get very little help from him (if you work with people long enough, it does get to you, so try to be patient with him as well). If you're lucky and get the other staffers at the information desk, they will actually help you. If you don't know where to start and do not have the resources to pay for a lawyer, this is the place to be, but you have to be diligent. First of all, they have a website, visit the website first-lots of info that can save you a trip-it offers downloadable court forms and instructions . KEEP IN MIND, this is not a place for people who are just there to wait to be given the answer, the center- cannot offer legal advice, only guidance-also, forms are available here for free.ON THURSDAYS, they have actual lawyers, who volunteers to answer questions-not twenty questions about your case, but if you get stuck on process not how to begin the process, the center can help you with that, save the complicated questions for the volunteer lawyers. The Self-help center, also, partners with UNLV where they offer free classes for family related issues divorce, adult and juvenile guardianships-again for guidance not legal advice. They will tell you the processes from forms to filings up to the hearing-all for free. While in class write down notes and questions, because they will try to answer them after class if there is time. They will also provide you with info on getting legal counsel at a discount or even free, but it is income based. This place is a great resource. It doesn't replace legal counsel, but it is a good place to start if you are completely lost or if you just need a little help during your legal journey. They get five stars for being there for my family when we needed it!!!

Part of a new government program, made by welfare big wigs, to try and weed out who they think is worthy by unnatural selection. Welfare used to be a one stop shop for all the needy in America. Now it's being spread out building to building, making people walk, use bus stops, run, cry anything just to get help. Like WTF get some real human interaction instead of sitting behind a desk with your superior looking face off and see if you can walk in my shoes. Like do these woman know heels were made as a torture device for woman 'back in the day'. Did they know strippers made them even comfier and sexier than ever! #NoJoke them stiletto platform heels just as comfy as a Wedge heel.

The self-help is great for answering any question involving your case. They provide you with the proper paperwork, and help edit the forms before having you file them. It can be a long wait but, once you get called in, they help you and allow plenty of time for questions.

Quick fast on and out. Everyone is very helpful in the self help area.

Receptionist takes a while to assist you but she did offer us waters and was polite. Consult went poorly, lawyer gave false information to me that I later found out was false through family courts self help.

This self-help center provided me with the tools that I needed to be my own attorney and I went pro se and got my two children out of adoption status the kids were placed back in the same home and then return back to me the state of Nevada was trying to terminate my parental rights and I won!

The staff have always been pleasant. They are stuck in a hard place because all they can do is tell you to fill out documents and “NEXT”.

These people who work here are so kind and helpful. I am so grateful for everything they have done. Cynthia is amazing and I didn't catch the name of the second lady that helped me.
