I had a situation involving a former business. It was someone trying to obtain a settlement without a case. I worked with Ray Moore and he was very conscious about billing on a frivolous case. He was able to have the matter dropped for a lower fee than he anticipated. I was very pleased.

I normally do not give the highest rating to any organization or entity; however, Murphy & Grantland, PA has superceded all expectations. They consistently portray the highest in professional decorum while making clients feel welcomed and a part of all proceedings. Kudos to the staff for executing the best in the lost art of true customer service!
John Grantland helped me after I got severe food poisoning from a local restaurant. Not only is he a fantastic person, he always returns calls, answers questions, and the entire staff at his law building are fantastic. He made the entire process easy and painless. I would recommend him to anyone!

In my opinion, they lack integrity, are totally unprofessional and unethical, and may have committed criminal acts. Back up material is available in my court file: IN THE MAGISTRATE'S COURT, COUNTY OF LEXINGTON, CIVIL ACTION NO: 2015-CV-32-1061054.. -Lied to me and the Court on multiple occasions through e-mails and official Court filings. -The attorney and GEICO (driver's insurance company) admitted liability, negotiated a settlement agreement, and GEICO mailed me a check. Then they filed an Answer with the court accusing me of negligence, gross negligence, reckless and careless behavior which resulted in the accident and asked for a Jury Trial and Costs. (I believe this was a malicious attempt to smear my reputation, etc.) They claim this is standard practice. --I don't know if they billed GEICO for numerous unnecessary hours, but they sure ran up many additional hours, forms, etc., after negotiating a settlement agreement. This caused me to expend numerous additional hours of my time to prepare for the case, since USAA threw me under the bus and refused to provide me legal representation. -Failed to proof read their documents--many typos from county of court, zip codes, to dates. -Altered Court document to delete submission date requirements (must be sent at least three business days prior to court date), but sent them one business day prior. -They play by a different sets of rules: --I had to submit evidence to back up my claims; they submitted no evidence to back up their claims/lies. --I requested discovery evidence two weeks prior to court date; they provided nothing. -Showed up late for court and failed to bring defendants and insurance rep as ordered by the court. -Violated at least two court orders. --Two separate judges were asked to impose sanctions and take other appropriate actions, but refused without comment. Without any assistance from the Court, USAA, etc., I settled the case.
This case involved a read-end collision (vehicle accident) while I was sitting still at a red light. The woman behind me ran into me (she stated she thought the light had changed green).
