It took a while, but through a recommendation from the 3rd attorney I talked to to try to find SOMEONE to help me, he recommended Whit. Finally....there is someone out there who actually has a practice to help someone where there is not any huge possible law suit where someone died due to negligence or malpractice. It is impossible to find someone who is willing to read a contract and tell you where you stand. I had an awful experience with a local nursing facility that was so awful, my mother's Dr told me to get her out of there immediately. Due to the fact that i had signed a contract, they were demanding payment for 14 days notice. I had a calendar with issues that happened every day and she was there only 27 days. AWFUL experience. I was threatened with debt collection, Which they went forward with, However, Whit read the contract and surmised i was in good standing with what all had happened and that their breech of responsibiity to what we were expecting did not happen at all, and he took care of it. Case CLOSED. I was fortunate to find him through a referral. It is unfortunate that there are not many attorneys who have a practice that just HELPS people, it seems that if they deem there is not a huge payoff for them in a drawn out litigation you are not likely to find anyone to help you. I could not be happier.
