I have never had a lawyer treat me the way she did she did not stay In contact with me about my case unless it was through email she never followed up with me to try to find more information the case I was up against I kinda felt more like she was my sons father attorney other than mine terrible experience I would have never paid that much if I had known she would have been no help. Waste of time and money !!!! Every time I would call no answer or It was her secretary and she was rude also she almost acted as if Im some horrible person she was no help in court kind of slap in the face but thanks for freely taking my money I would have spent on someone who would have actually been of help and not been on the side with the father ...enough said here so many more things I could say but its not worth it thanks for making me feel like the worst mother in the world !!!!!

Terrible! Fake!

Ali has always taken care of all my legal needs in expert fashion. She has always been polite and professional and will fight hard for you as a client.

Out of the three attorneys I had on this Particular case Ali was the only one to get things moving. 1st atty I could never get a hold of second atty just up and quit their Lawfirm and leaving me with my hands in the air.

After all the evidence I have showing proof of the lies it never made it to trial... from what I’ve heard that’s a financial blessing. but with that being done.so much was over looked.

so I don’t blame Ali for that I feel like that’s just how family court is. That’s how they are taught. get them in the door and whatever paper gets thrown at you make them sign it.

And after you sign papers even if the other person is lying about information (under oath) and you have proof of that lie “It doesn’t matter judges do not go back on orders” “you signed it and now you have to deal with it” “ take the chip off your shoulder”

So what I’ve learned from this is don’t sign anything without getting attorneys to prove what the other party is saying is true.

In one particular instance I made the mistake of trusting what Ali said was true even though I told her there’s no way that’s possible.

I signed the paper(s) went home and double checked things to find out the truth and found that the other party was indeed taking an extra *K from me.

I sent her an email showing her my findings and asked if she needed more proof I would be glad to give her copies of bank statements.

I had asked other questions as well that did not get answered. It’s been over a week since that email I guess since I’ve already paid her my questions aren’t important?

I gave ali 3 stars for helping me get what I was asking for. “For the most part” and getting things in motion.

But failing to prove the other parties statements and having me sign papers that inevitably put me out of more money.

She was an awful attorney that we paid $2,000 for my case and this was my very first time being in any kind of trouble and I was 19 years old at the time and could of qualified for youthful offender. I of course had no idea about this youthful offender plea I could of then qualified for until years later .But this being my first time in trouble I was completely naive about the justice system and was putting my faith in my paid for attorney Ali Garrett assuming she knew what she was doing more than myself of course since I'm just a massage therapist . She ended up putting me through pretrial diversion and I had probation and served jail time and now those misdemeanors are on my record forever. When all she had to do was plead youthful offender then I would at least have the chance to have them ex sponged off my record and even a lawyer fresh out of school would of done that! I can't believe I paid $2000 for her horrible services. I would of been better off representing myself still even without any knowledge of the law.

Extremely dissatisfied. I believe we had more of a personality conflict than anything.. After I paied out $2000 I had to hire ANOTHER attorney to finish her job, & take over the case. I was only refunded $200, which is completely absurd. I do not recommend this attorney for any Child Custody case, whatsoever.
