We are talking about circumstances where my wife was fighting Stage 4 Cancer and just lost the battle 3 weeks before my Mediation. It was the most mentally stressful event in my entire life. Amanda handled the situation in my best interest.
As an Italian who can become quite demonstrative about things and possibly open up an opportunity for push back, Amanda’s guidance and information was invaluable. There were times at my mediation that I wanted to express my side of the story, and with Amanda’s guidance and professionalism she took the emotional aspects out of the equation and just substituted intelligence and logic into the case at hand.
Amanda produced results reflecting exactly what I was willing to settle for. I call that a win-win for everybody involved.

This was the first time I had ever needed an Employment Attorney. I could not have chosen worse. The only interest Kirby Law Firm ever had in my case was to collect their retainer. In less than 6 months, my “assigned attorney” changed 3 times without notice. I had to insist on seeing Mr. Kirby “face to face” when I was notified, via email, of the third attorney. I met with him and her a few weeks before she was scheduled to go on maternity leave.
I would not recommend anyone or thing to them. They are a group of blundering cowards. Their initial “weak” correspondence to my employer was ridiculed. They responded to Kirby’s 3 page letter (with typos) in a paragraph. I had to demand that Kirby submit another letter, which his firm asked me to review before sending. To make matters worse, my “alleged” attorney asked me to respond to the EEOC questions. I responded. With the exception of shortening my response, she submitted what I had written verbatim.
I would strongly urge anyone in need of an Employment Attorney to steer far away from this floundering group. My advice is, if you can’t advocate for yourself, you are screwed if you choose Kirby Law Firm. My job was saved and my job title was restored ONLY because of my efforts. If I had waited on Kirby, my job title would have been changed to a position with a pay grade 8 steps lower than I was hired…
I had documented facts to support my case. I also have documented evidence to support my objective review of Kirby Law Firm.

They work for the Government. They are compromised and will not work for your benefit.
They will provide free consultations and pretend like they care and tell you about their legal approach and then, prolong the case and drop you once you've paid their retainer.
Please, Please, Please do not ignore this review. I love People so much and I do not like to see firms and agencies like this get away with deceiving people.
I can only warn you...

I highly recommend the firm for any employment law situation you may have.
If you want to hire a consummate and very capable attorney who fights hard and smart, he is the one. Also, he does not charge for banal and redundant work. He is worth every penny as he passionately cares for the helpless and those who suffer injustices.
Thank you.
Rachel and Kirby - thank you very much.
Kept our expenses in check and presented us with good and practical advice.
We would definitely work with his firm again.
Mr. Smith has a very hands on approach and always available to answer and questions.
