If it was possible to give negative stars, I would do it. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM unless you want to lose everything. They are way overpriced and provide horrible representation, if it can even be called that. In my divorce case, my income was never brought up by my attorneys and the judge was allowed to believe incorrect financial information. The nonchallannt, dismissive attitude of these attorneys is truly stunning.

Life doesn’t always take you on the road well-traveled and I recently found myself traveling in unfamiliar territory; single and pregnant. Expensive and charge for needless expenses. In GA most lawyers are going to follow equitable division of asset laws anyhow so find a firm that will work with your ex to an amicable compromise other than MT Law.

I contacted Charlotte Ruble when other attorneys had let me down. After 3 years of divorce and custody fighting, most attorney’s simply weren’t interested. Charlotte was willing to work within my financial constraints and find the right level of support for me. I am very disappointed with the services at Meriwether & Tharp. they will smooze you and seem very nice and professional when receiving your money but their true colors come out once they start digging into your retainer. These lawyers told me everything I wanted and needed to hear for my custody battle but money is all that matters to them. they have knowledge, yes, but are very unprofessional when it comes to representation even to the point where they talk negatively about me (the client) to the opposing party. waste of my time and money. don't believe what these guys tell you.

I say that because HE said that TWICE to me on 2 separate occasions.
My fairly simple divorce has turned into a nightmare. it has spun completely out of control due lack of interest and poor representation.
My fees he has charged have doubled since the mediation signed because of his inability to provide a signed settlement agreement.
His motion to withdraw has been granted leaving me with the mess he said he wouldn't leave me with. If you don't believe me I have the emails
He has betrayed my trust and in my opinion proven himself to be unreliable, unprofessional and incompetent.

Absolutely terrible. Acted like they were taking a special interest in my case and threw me to the wolves. My first invoice was for $21.00 and 10 days later it was over $4,000. Weren't willing to give me time to make payment arrangements. Was trying to put money together and they dropped my case after 4 days. My daughter was and still is in immediate danger and I can do nothing about it. Money grubbing lawyers - guess it should have been expected.

Excellent experience - Leh is great about staying calm and forming a strategy during tough negotiations. He is focused on the end result and does not get bogged down in menial arguments that can sidetrack a negotiation.

He also has an excellent grasp of the current law and is very prepared when it comes time to finalize an agreement or go to trial.
