Waste of money. I sat in court all morning waiting for my lawyer. Who I seen for 4 mins and didn't show with paperwork to help us. That I did prior to court date.Just to hear two people with same/like or worse chargers get better deals then I was offered. With no representation.One with an active warrant got a less offer then my lawyer provided me. One admitting to the crime to the judge and still got less offence. Only to hear a sorry when I explained it to him. He wasn't working for me. just working me for my $1500.

Like everyone else who ends up on the wrong side of the cops' judgement, I needed help. I wasn't happy with my first lawyer and felt he was complacent. I never sensed one ounce of Scott pushing for anything that would be expedient for him or his firm. I never sensed him pushing for anything. The advice always presented me with options and an open and transparent communication that was conducive to asking questions, however stupid they might be.

My first case dragged out for 3 years, largely because the prosecuting county waited almost 2 years to formally accuse me. During this entire time I never felt a sense of urgency coming from Scott and he helped guide me to put in the type of work that persuaded the prosecutor to drop the consequential part of the charges. Had this not panned out, the option for a trial was always available and never discouraged had I chosen this option.

Another case reached the best deal possible and the same readiness to get me the best outcome possible was there.

I hope I never have to, but I will absolutely turn to Scott first for any other matter, should I be in trouble again.
