My divorce was mostly uncontested, The Siemon firm got my case finished quickly and I was very satisfied.

Good people, trustworthy

Consulted and hired for a contempt case, was lead to believe the case would be much less than the required reserve money to start case. Before the first response to the plaintiff's attorney they had already used up all available funds and wanted me to then pay that amount again to continue on the case. Maybe I'm new to this but wow, way to get someone on the hook for a case that should have cost less than $2,500 and try to get them to pay you $7,000 with no way to regulate your spending. Total misrepresentation of the firm and the cost of their legal fees for the case. Not to mention that once I had my court date using the legal documents I had paid $3,500 dollars for the judge said that the legal statutes they claimed did not apply in my case. Therefore not only did I get taken for $3,500 dollars I also apparently purchased bad legal advice that did not help me with my case at all. If I were you I would keep looking for a more honest law firm that cares more about you and your family than how fast they can spend your hard earned money.

Divorce lawyers are everywhere, others I talked to seemed to want every case to be the same and be run through a mill. Siemon Law worked with me and what I wanted. Hopefully I won't get Divorced ever again but I would use them.

You get what you pay for! If you want an average attorney that doesn't really care about your case, go to Groupon. If you want a legit firm that provides exceptional service, cares about you as an individual and not just as an open wallet, check out these folks! They helped me finish a case that a "cheaper" attorney started for me. They are not cheap, but they did give me pointers on how to reduce costs and didn't needlessly call me to rack up fees. Discount prices are good for oil changes, not so much for divorce lawyers.

The Siemon Law Firm generally, and John Lovett in particular, were extremely thorough, courteous, compassionate and professional in their handling of my challenging child custody and divorce case, and consistently responsive to my demands as an anxious and inquisitive client. Through many ups and downs, they clearly communicated the status of everything in a timely manner. Furthermore, their experience in this area, as family law specialists, was clearly in evidence, and vindicated when legal developments closely tracked their predictions and the expectations they had set. They are not cheap, but I believe well worth it in the high-stakes matter of children's well-being and one's personal welfare following divorce.

My case is very was very complicated and crazy. I never thought I would go through something like this, my perfect little bubble was cracked open in a major way. Next thing I know I'm in court and I'm scared for my children and have no certainty in my life. It was all a crazy surreal wirlewind. I have had dealings with other family law lawyers in the past, unfortunately I have a very difficult relationship with my ex. In the past I haven't felt like the process was very transparent. I would hear from my attorney occasionally and they would tell me what I needed to do. With The Siemon Law Firm I felt like I always knew what was going on and felt like the decisions being made were my decisions after they laid everything out for me. I never understood discovery and how flexible it could be and about all the different options. I always felt like you sent a form to the other side and got back what they were required to send. They represented and educated me. Hopefully I won't ever have to use what I learned but if I do I'll come back here.

Read great reviews about this firm but the experience was quite opposite from five star service. The great reviews which lured me in seem to be based on the top, most expensive and perhaps most effective attorneys at this firm. This is my experience with the Siemon Law Firm. I requested to consult with Josie. She turned out to be too busy to actually meet & was not advised ahead of appt. They sent another attorney to do the consultation who made a great sales pitch for strategy and said I have a case, then gave the impression that I would likely get them or another attorney at that location I came to. Their consultations are not free. After signing on with them, a day or two later I was assigned an attorney to my case at a completely different office over an hour away without discussing it with me first. They set up a phone call consult with the assigned attorney. Another conversation going over what I was looking for and needed was more time and money. I was not thrilled being assigned an attorney I knew nothing about, not conveniently located, and not discussed with me first. However, he seemed knowledgeable and professional and was going help me. I thought maybe this attorney at this other office was doable after all and I reassured myself with the 5 star firm reviews. So I proceeded with him and the process.
At the initial consult, when specifically asking them that when they review their cases with the other attorneys in the firm that I wouldn't be charged for more than one, they said no. On my bill I was charged for the main attorneys time, the paralegal, and another attorney who "reviewed" the case weekly. I pointed it out and they dropped some of the charges but you MUST review your bill! After I pointed this out their attitude appeared to change toward me.
Read the fine print carefully for fees as they astronomically increase throughout the proceedings too!
Starting the case, their priority was getting my financial info.
After my financials, they had me spend hours (=$$$$) on issues and preparing Interrogatories and Notice to Produce papers to send to Defendant only for them to NOT ever file them along with filing the contempt and modification. In failing to do so, they strategically gave the upperhand to the defendant to request my info first.
This attorney would not take the time to give specific, valuable guidance only vague directions to just provide everything asked for and then he would filter through it. That's a lot of paperwork that they can charge time for filtering through unnecessarily!
Final straw was the period before my responses were due. After seeking legal guidance via email and calls yielding no satisfaction, I asked to meet with the attorney in person. I was told that he had one single day available maybe, just before my deadline and that was because the attorney would be absent due to vacation without prior notice to me.
The assigned attorney was previously at a Mens divorce firm (that had many negative reviews) which may explain why I felt discriminated against as a woman through his lack of genuine interest and guidance in assisting me. Google shows this same attorney has public record of recent personal bankruptcy filing. Which begs the question, if he cannot run his personal life soundly, how can he be trusted to truly help clients with theirs and have clients best interests at the core besides their money? It appears this firm used a bait & switch intro consult on me. If you can get the Siemon's and afford them, they may be the only effective lawyers here. This firm did not act with genuine concern for my case and issues once I was signed on with them. Upon a review of my case with another law firm, this firm lacked thoughtful counsel and strategy with filed paperwork the way it was. They offer service with a smile, then high charge you for every single little thing and then some.
My experience with this firm caused thousands of dollars and time spent with nothing to show for it. I had to start over from scratch with a no nonsense firm that truly fights for their clients.

Use this firm!

I'm pretty new to this area so I had to pick a divorce lawyers from the internet, which made me very nervous. It turns out I hit the jack pot with this firm! I really made the right choice!

Do yourself a favor and Stay away from this firm. Not only did I lose a significant amount of money but I got blind sighted by something so unexpected and damaging to my case. Had I hired a good experienced attorney this wouldn't have happened. I had to fire her and find another attorney to clean up the mess but the damage had been done and not repairable.
I have since heard from others nothing but negative things about this firm. I wrote a review on their Facebook page and they emailed my current attorney telling him to let me know that they were going to file a lawsuit against me. It's called a review.
Then they turned their Facebook reviews off.
I hope no one else experiences what I did with this firm. If I could just rewind. Now me and my children will forever be impacted and must deal with the consequences of hiring a bad attorney. I never imagined the damage hiring the wrong attorney can do to u. Please do your research don't take hiring an attorney lightly. I would never recommend anyone to them.

Didn't have a very good experience with this law firm. They are all about the money, and didn't really seem to interested in anything else.

The Siemon Law Firm became involved to finalize my divorce and settle a custody dispute. I used this Law Firm in my recent child support and alimony adjustment. They let me know upfront that it was something that I could not wait on. They let me know what the cost of their time would be up front. They worked with me to keep the cost down and still get all the information to the courts for my case.
