In Oct 2018, I got in an accident and called Ken . It’s now Jan 2020 and still no check. The lawyers referred me to chiropractors that drained all the money. I’ve been waiting 14 months for less than $500. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY if you want your money in less than 2 years. I used to love Ken Nugent and thought he was the best, but the Middle Georgia branch has tarnished his legal legacy and empire.

When I called them and told them my citations, they told me that they could help me, but when they found out that I had to go to court they dropped me. They didn't have time to come where I live to go to court, Now I have too fine another lawyer. That's bad business.

Its been almost a year since the wreck, 6 months since I ended my medical treatment. 2 months since I signed my settlement, but I was told today 'The lawyer is still trying to settle your case.' And there is nothing I can do about it...because I chose them without doing my research...and that makes me a fool...you don't have to be too. Choose wisely.

I've noticed that a lot of reviews are pretty similar with what I'm about to complain about. SO I'll start from the beginning.
18 Nov 18 - I was t-boned at Carl Vinson and Watson while I was turning at a green light right around midnight to go into the flash foods parking lot for work when i get blindsided. i had the green light and the man that had hit me (who has NOT been caught yet) ran off on foot after practically intimidating me into admitting it was my fault that he hit me.
He was driving another persons vehicle and the other company had fleet company insurance.
My mom was the one that hired the lawyer for me, and as good intentions as she had it, was probably the worst one she made in this scenario.
My insurance company and the lawyers fought with one another while I struggled in the feud. I have run circles around getting into contact with my agent who's been changed off of my case. Hell even now I don't know who it is anymore that's in charge of it.
I have gone up to the place and asked them for a letter so I could take my case someplace else before they could waste my time more before one lady gave me some other string to pull on.

It should NOT feel like pulling teeth just to get a hold of somebody.

There very well could be some folks in the building that will actually call their clients and tell them over the weeks that they're working on whatever their case may be and that they will give them updates and be quick with everything. I think I only ever received calls.. twice over the course of the year?
Currently as of all of the state of affairs: I signed a paper and mailed it back to the office so I could receive my settlement check. That was 2 months ago.

TL;DR - Spend your money on somebody else that will actually talk to you instead of giving you the run around.

I entrusted this firm to handle my accident case and almost a year later I get a call stating the attorney of my case wasn't representing me any more due to "she didn't have time to go to court". Car still hasn't been repaired . I suggest you call someone else.

My 17 year old Daughter was hurt in a car accident. It was vert complex in the legial matter.. She was hit by a drunk driver that was driving a truck he didnt have permission to drive. Mr.Pits done EVERYTHING!! This is an amazing legial team.. I didn't have to do anything.. They even sent the check to ambulance server's.. So yes my daughter was able to recive money amd ALL bills was paid.. Couldnt have asked for anything better.

Don't know what to think. If they set up appointment for you they cancel and never get back with you. They say they're working for you and don't worry I'll be getting a great settlement it's been since 12 27 17 since my accident and 2 surgeries and still nothing. Dont know how too rate them.

My accident was about 2 years ago. Never met nor talked to my lawyer. She only communicated through mail. The office never returned phone calls no one was ever available. I will never recommend Ken nugent to anyone! Worst experience! Then when you finally get in touch with someone they say well this person is no longer with the firm. Just ridiculous!

I spoke with an agent and he steered me in the right direction for my problem. Very honest and sincere. I have no problem with this law firm. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the response. Overall I feel that they will help in the areas that they can.

Since the beginning of my case I felt like they didn't care they talk a good game to get you signed up and then u are left hanging if you agree to an amount and the lawyer isn't satisfied they keep up with negotiation even after you sign off if you attempt to ask why you can't keep a line of communication open to keep you updated they make you seem problematic I would never go back to this firm they have selfish individuals that I have dealt with who have more time off than working your case I bounced around 3 different case managers and one left earlier for maternity than expected and I didn't know who I was supposed to be handled by it was a mess do not use these greedy people at the beginning they said 33 1/3% then by the time the last person got it they want 40 smh then acted like they did me a favor by dropping to 35 I would have been better off representing myself zevin and Rosenblum will be my go to they were great

They basically take your case and make you think they are working for you. I was basically INVISIBLE had very little contact with any of the attorneys that were so called working with me. BOBBI BAREN is ALWAYS on the phone, NEVER CALLS BACK and basically give you BASIC INFO regarding your case, then they fight and help you agree to a mediocre settlement and after that YOU are treated as NOTHING. I felt scammed and used by the end of my ordeal and still have back/nexk and shoulder problems I was told by THIER CHIROPRACTOR because I was OLD. NEVER CALLING KEN NUGENT AGAIN! I suggest you don't either unless you want the chiropractor to get more out of your settlement than you.

TODAY is FRIDAY feb/10/2017 & I'm telling you to not hire this people as your attorney they will charge you 40% and not even look at your case unil they feel like it! My mon was in a car accident 3 months ago Nov/3 and i hire them so they can get my mom medical treatment! And get us as much help possible! When i tell you the minute i spoke to the lady that was handling our case i think her name is Leah Smith,i could already tell it was something wrong she just sounded like she was just tired of her job,like if she dint like what she do! Long story short yesterday i hired dozier law firm and Today! My mom went to go see the doctor that her new lawyer got her from DOZIER LAW FIRM from Macon Ga. Not like leah smith that told me since it already been 3 months since the accident she don't know if they was gonna pay for it. And yeah it been 3 months because she never picks up the phone she be in her office but dont call back, i left her voicemails and let the time go by and did not get her my (Mom) medical treatment but yes as today MY Mother fired them!
