I've known Ajay for 28 years. During all of the years that I've known him, I've been blessed to have never needed formal legal advice in my professional or personal business dealings. That changed in 2017 as I needed an immediate review of an employer-presented NDA/Non-Compete agreement that my current employer suddenly created and required all employees to sign. As written, I did not feel comfortable with approving the documents. I know that Non-Competes are hard to enforce in Texas but I was not interested in exposing myself to potential future harm and or legal issues. In 24 hours, Ajay not only was available by phone but reviewed all aspects of the documents for his legal opinion. He took the time to complete a comprehensive review & redline effort of the document focusing on the language areas of concern. I explained my goal was to improve the document so I could prepare a revised document that would protect me and actually improve my employers position as well. Ajay exceeded my expectations on that effort and within 48 hours of my original call presented me two electronic documents ready for review and consideration with my employer. When I presented my revised documents to my employer for review, they backed off of the request to immediately execute the original document nor wanted to mutually review my revised document. They never brought up the subject again and I was never required to sign the original or revised documents. I left that employer six months later on good terms. I now have the option, should I so chose, to sell or work in the same vertical within my current geographical area. I would not have maintained that freedom if it hadn't been for Ajay's efforts at a critical moment in my professional life.
