William Jacob was not my first attorney during my divorce, and 16 years of child support, but he is my last. During this time my ex attempted to increase child support, and / or generally harass me at every opportunity. Mr Jacob was there every time, finally getting a judge to issue warning about frivolous lawsuits. He worked with me when funds were a problem, and came up with a payment plan.
In my opinion, he is more than just an attorney. I feel that he helped me make sure that my kid grew up in a safe and healthy environment, and most of my family can't say that!

I met Mr. Jacob at Fathers for Equal Rights about 2 years ago in search of an attorney to help me with my custody case. He was the third attorney that I had spoken to within the program and later became about the fourth or fifth attorney that I would end up hiring for my case. I went through 3 lawyers prior finding William Jacob Law Office. Family/custody battles can be brutal...but knowing first hand experience how bad lawyers can be and how messed up our court system is...William is truly one of the few good ones. He was prompt to every meeting/hearing/appointment. He listened to every word I said. He cared. He was personable, light hearted and extremely generous...he should be charging more for as good as he is. He has very helpful personal insight to many of the "legal people" you will be at the mercy to in our system. I have known William for going on 8 years now...and can honestly say that if you are looking for a family lawyer...and i'm not sure what all Law he practices...but he is your guy.

I hired this attorney to simply review a property agreement for me, dropped it off at his office in late June. He was to review the document and advise. Very simple, quick transaction. However after repeated calls, he will not return the call or communicate in any way. I hired him through my workplace attorney benefit, I feel like he has claimed a fee from my work benefit and has certainly not delivered anything in return. Stay away!

My family and I have used Mr. Jacobs office for more than 10 years. I remember the first time my family hired him for my grandfathers will. My grandfather was in the hospital and Mr.Jacob went to the hospital for signatures.

I decided to retain Mr. Jacob in June 2016, after the initial consultation. While he did allow me to pay in installments, my case received little to no attention until the retainer was PAID IN FULL. It took me two months to pay the retainer, it's taken him seven months to file the paperwork, get it served, and have the order signed by a judge. AND my case is still not completed to my satisfaction. I've sent emails complaining about the service and the indifferent handling of my case, but nothing changes. Throughout my case, I have had to do some of the leg-work myself because I wasn't getting results fast enough. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND William for services that you want handled thoroughly and expeditiously. He is a very nice person, but NOT a service friendly attorney.
