General lack of concern. I hired Ms. Dale to represent me in my best interests, but she failed to appear at the essential divorce mediation. She sent her partner instead. My representation and outcome did not meet my expectations.

I contacted Laura Dale & Associates in hopes to quickly finalize my divorce. I called and was quickly directed to Mr. Nicholas Traylor, an attorney at this firm. I gave him the run down of my case, and he gave me the best options possible. Remember that there is a co-pay of $350 to have a consultation with Mr. Traylor. I never felt as though he was pushing extra things on me to get a quick buck. I felt that he had my best interest in mind. Being that I am not located in the Texas area, the firm and Mr. Traylor were more than easy to get into contact with, with every email being responded to within a couple hours at the latest. From the consultation to the back and forth with legal documents, my divorce took only two weeks. Amazing. I was so happy. Everything went smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend this firm, for being professional and welcoming, as well as Mr. Nicholas Traylor himself, for being honest and efficient.

Should you find yourself in the awful predicament of a divorce, I highly recommend asking to work with Deb Herndon and Valory Falke. My divorce was lengthy and overly contentious (I'm not sure there is another kind). These ladies would talk me off of the ledge and we'd find a way to solve the issue at hand. We were thrown a couple significant curve balls and Deb never wavered. I always felt confident that in the end there would be a fair and equitable dissolution to my marriage. There was and it is due to these ladies being diligent, prepared and extremely competent.

Top flight representation. I had a simple matter, but needed it handled expeditiously, and without requiring me to travel to Houston.

Melissa Aldape and her paralegal Pilar provided me with that and much more. She communicated clearly, advised me about my options, and was generally supportive through a difficult time. This firm committed malpractice and I am intent on taking this to the highest court. I filed a complaint against them for not sharing discovery information with me, their client, and the governing body with a relationship with them said their was nothing they were willing to prosecute. Their final words were, you probably have a fee dispute, you can contact the local review group to assess that. They did commit malpractice...they gained discovery information and did not share that information with their client, that is the definition of malpractice when practicing law. I have emails from Laura Dale that specifically state she did not think the information was useful so she decided not to share the information with me...her firms client. All the 5 star reviews are either fake, or the cookie cutter cases where the opposing side pays all the legal fees. This firm needs to step up and say, we no longer are going to be unethical...we stand for each of our clients no matter their sexual orientation, the color of their skin, their birth-rights, their gender, or their financial status. They need to review this firms pro bono commitments and their moral compass. Laura Dale, I am a University of Texas Longhorn also, and you put us to shame. I have all the emails you wrote me.

11/2018 review: This is one of those nightmare firms that sells you on false pretenses then underdelivers. My bill was intentionally run up way beyond what was offered as counsel to my children and me. Now I get these harassing correspondence that put collection agencies to shame. Their slogan should be (both quotes directly from the company), "Here at Laura Dale, we are a pay on demand firm." Or "we will take all steps necessary to collect the balance that is owed to the firm". Instead of spending this much effort harassing former clients, they should meet the level of ethics required by law and put that effort into representing their clients. I never felt represented at this firm, they set a very poor example of championing justice.

I wish I could post these 20,000 word emails they send me to try to justify their failures. At least they are spending time on me rather than bamboozling another potential victim.

Said all the right things in first meeting & would not even give me the courtesy of answering my calls nor emails on why she wasn’t taking my case of enforcement. Just ghosted me. Less than 1 Star is my rating...
