I agree with this review: "If this is the best Legal Shield can offer, I wasted money using Legal Shield." I sent the completed form to have my Will done on January 27, 2020; it's now February 17, 2020, and i haven't received my Will nor has an attorney returned my requested call back. I've been a paying member of Legal shield since May 2007 and I am very dissatisfied with the service. I plan to cancel my membership.

Legal Shield attorney, you get what you pay for. Attorney I was working with leaves firm and I wasn't told. Waited for calls to continue on case. Return phone calls are non-existent. Their call center operators and paralegals were nonchalant when I called back asking for assistance. I cancelled my member to Legal Shield because of them.

Terrible legal service and advice

I’ve been using this law firm’s help for over four years for business related matters. All i can say, they are indispensable! The response time is usually short, the results are outstanding! I suppose it depends on the nature of each individual business; however, in my field, their assistanse and guidance are valuable. Thank you!

Deming Parker has been my law firm for the last 20 years.I find them to be very professional and really care about the legal situations of their clients. They have always returned my phone calls and kept me in the loop concerning my legal situation

My lawyers for almost 20-years, they are simply the best at what they do!

Not only do they move incredibly slow despite the level of urgency, they play both sides of the fence! This so-called advice isn't even free. You have to have a membership that costs $25/month to even speak with someone. Then they take 5-7 days to respond each time.

In my honest opinion, Falgun Patel gave me "advice" then turned around and gave my opponent the exact same "advice" to use against me. It's too much of a coincidence to me. I am appalled and disgusted by a company who clearly sees nothing wrong with misleading people and taking advantage of their vulnerability. NEVER AGAIN! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Want to give negative stars. Used their service through Legal Shield for a traffic violation. Attorney failed to communicate and advise of what the status was. When finally had a court date, attorney did not show up! Do not recommend.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. I am a legal shield member and wanted to use the law firm for a ticket (failure to maintain lane) I received. Legal shield was easy to use abd directed me to this law firm. They contacted me promptly. The date to appear was Feb 2 will due to the attorney not being avaible he filed for a countuniance and said before that date he would have it figured out. I did not hear anything for 4 MONTHS! If I wanted to know something I would call sandy (his assistant) and she was uninformed on anything he was working on. He never called back when I left messages and the only way to speak with him was through text and he would only reply after days. I get a letter in the mail my court date was set for August 1st. I spoke with him via text again he said he would be there. Come August 1st I'm in the court room and No Adam ruff and the solictors wont speak with me because I have an attorney. He did not call text or anything saying he was not coming. This is unacceptable. So now I have to wait for another court date abd who knows if he is going to show up or even let me know. The only thing this company cares about is the money and are absolutely horrible at responding. This is a very simple pay the ticket be done that will last over a year because Adam Ruff will not prioritize my case.

I have seen some of the complains being they dont do much beyond writing a letter. well, here is the news flash: even at writing a letter, they are not very competent. So far, I have dealt with 3 revisions just for my son's first name on a letter! And every revision takes almost a week to respond. I highly recommend legal shield to contract their legal work out to high school kids, they can usually spell a first name on a letterhead much more accurate than this law firm!

This is not a good attorney office at all. They seem to pick & choose when they want to make an effort in helping you. I was refer to them by Legal Shield. If this is the best Legal Shield can offer, I wasted money using Legal Shield.

From my experience, Deming, Parker, etc... is a law firm full of "lawyers" who do not show concern regarding the client’s issue. My first issue was regarding a debt collection that was not mine and the debt collecting company was suing me. Mr. Woods contacted the plaintiff's lawyer (because I asked him to), to ask for some information and proof regarding the lawsuit (which I told him to ask for), but soon after that he told me to settle. He did not look into any laws for me, he put no effort in my case at all. Only because of MY legal work was I able to beat the case and have the lawsuit dismissed. While Mr. Woods was telling me to settle, I was diligently researching Georgia Debt Collection laws, and found a loophole that would get my case dismissed. I emailed this law to Mr. Woods, he emailed it to the other attorney, and the next thing I know I received a letter saying the case was dismissed. The only purpose Mr. Woods served was to act as a liaison and communicate with the other attorney because I did not want to communicate with her. I had to ask him to do that too; he did not offer.

My next case was regarding a dependent of mine and I had an "attorney" named Kylie (not sure of the spelling). From the moment she called me about this case, she had an attitude and unconcern oozed from her tone of voice. She talked to me like I was stupid. I feel she would have acted like a jerk no matter what my issue was, but I feel she was even more rude to me because my dependent is incarcerated. She had an air of arrogance to her. At least Mr. Woods was nice. Kylie is rude and seemed to have no more knowledge regarding prisoner advocacy laws than a law student or a Google Scholar who graduated from the university of Looking Everything Up On Google (which actually helped me more than this law firm, so yay Google). She never offered to refer me to a lawyer who had knowledge of prisoner advocacy laws. I would ask her a question and she would say "well I'm not sure, I don't think you can do this", and then just sit in silence on the phone. That's after condescendingly asking me if I had already contacted the Ombudsman Office, which I did of course. Information about the Ombudsman Unit was the only slightly helpful information she provided in the useless email she sent me.

While my entire experience at Deming, Parker, and Whatever was EXTREMELY poor, Kylie is the reason why I am cancelling my Legal Shield membership and will be hiring a normal attorney who actually has education on Georgia laws.

Legal Shield, I do not know what you pay this law firm in order to be a part of your network, but it is CLEARLY not enough to make them care about their clients, or at least pretend to care. Give Kylie some customer service training. Also, upon being assigned to this law firm you should let new Legal Shield clients know that this law firm can only help with the most basic of issues, like getting a Will, or receiving assistance with a mortgage contract or some other contract. Much of anything else is greatly outside the scope of what this firm is capable of. No need to send me an email stating your website notifies clients that if they need more assistance they would have to pay regular attorney fees with a 25% discount. This law firm should still be able to answer basic questions within our normal Legal Shield plan. I did not even ask Kylie to look into anything for me, because I knew she wouldn't. I merely asked her to guide me to the right people or organization that had knowledge of prisoner advocacy laws, and she still refused to do that unless I paid for an attorney.

Found Mrs. Scott through Legal Shield. The worst service you will ever receive. Wasted money and my time. Will not return your phone calls nor text nor emails. This whole ordeal was a joke. And ask for documents 2 days before court.

They are money hungry, non experienced Esquires trying to act as a liaison to refer an Attorney, which is what I pay Legal Shield for. They are not worth the money nor time to try not to help people that have serious cases such as myself. A Lara Smith Esq., Cassandra Smith and Julia Smith are obvious asinine suggestions a consultation, as it seems as if it's a Family law firm attempted to ask me for $3000- $5000 to retain a referral Attorney from Deming and also gave poor level of expertise to my case as they do not value people for who they are but only values what a person personable possessions are, as I was assaulted and my personal items of my Watch and Bracelet was their only concern for my compensation . If a person hits one of them in the face, they'd be seeking for compensation of more than Medical expenses and stolen/ missing property. Especially for my Profession as a Model and Former Elite Image Brand Model. My Image is an "item" that has suffered damages that I'm entitled to personable compensation for in addition to my missing items. They explained to me that they were going after The City of Atlanta instead of Boogaloo Restaurant's Owner and stated that they were going to try to prove that the hired patrol officer of Boogaloo didn't do their job as of Compliance, and proceeded to tell me that cases for yet again personal property may take up to $20,000 to $40,000 dollars as they valued my case to the value of my stolen/missing items only of $110,000 and thought to try to not have nor build a case considering their concern of never mind that I was assaulted at and by Boogaloo Restaurant patrons. They too often like to state that they've been an Attorney for 19 years in regards to their desperate measures of no efforts to offer me a fair case nor real legal assistance where the at-fault of course is accountable upon Boogaloo Restaurant instead of The City of Atlanta, as they were a hired source from Boogaloo Restaurant that night. Do not waste your time, let alone money for them to not even be your Trusted law firm, but charging consumers to refer consumers an Attorney. Again Legalshield is to refer Attorneys, not Deming.

Michael Deming from this firm deserves no stars and I wouldn't recommend no one to this firm. His main objective is money for himself. That he will make sure he gets. I was referred by someone and to my suprises they took advantage of my daughter. I had provide them with almost all information for my daughter's case. The firm only sent out requests pretty muchmade things difficult for her to receive the settlement and was not promoted in doing so. He lies deceives and take advantage of people. I want all to be aware of this firm. They have no remorse for the victims and only have their wallets in the best interest.

This firm drew up the will for our family in 2005. We needed to update this will and in the meantime have moved. We were told they needed a phone number and membership number. The phone number has changed since we've relocated to a different area. They were not willing to help or construct a new will. Unless you're a commercial client, don't bother.

I'm giving 2 stars, because they have been helpful in the past. However, my recent case was a car accident, went to a 1 on 1 on the week of May 14. Never heard a word back. I emailed to check on an update for my case on June 4th. No reply! I moved on and went with another attorney that was recommended by a good friend. But seriously, how do you leave your client hanging like that?

I thought that as a network of people you would have a leg to stand on though Legalshield. Deming, Parker,etc will not go to court without you paying big bucks. Oh thank you for "writing" a letter. After the letter is where they get you. When people won't represent an elderly senior citizen (unless they have the $$$), on a fixed income,who pays into Legalshield, who is being harassed by The HOA association, being told there going into take them into foreclosure,something is definitely wrong with that picture. This person on a fixed income, pays there mortgage and HOA dues,etc.
Anyway I am just painting a picture. I guess a member should just be ok with a letter and getting a will done. Anyway.....

I highly discourage anyone from using this firm. I am a Sr Associate for Legalshield and this firm has done less than the bare minimum the few times I’ve asked for help. None of my cases were remotely finished. If there is an issue someone will call and harass you constantly just to make you feel like it’s your fault and not theirs. Stay away!

as a Legal Shield member I have called them Monday about a letter from Public Storage I received that day about my storage unit with them in another state. It said they would start painting the unit one day after I got the letter, and that I could drop by thier office to get a drop cloth to put over my furiniture and art work. The Legal Shield attorney suggested I do nothing and wait to see if they did damage to my unit and then go after them. I said no, I need you to call them and tell them the notice was too short and they better not damage my belongings. Never heard from her after that. Lousy advice.

I'm very disappointed with the services that was provided by this firm. Attorney Scott called me and didn't initially introduced herself until I asked. Takes forever to provide services!!!

The worst service ever!!!! The Lawyer I have obtained through LegalShield lost every case I had still billed me for time and never filed appropriate paper work with court system. My case was lost to a First year law student working pro bono. LegalShield sell this as a High quality Law service its nothing but a scam. Don't fall for this service!!!!

I had a issue with Verizon Wireless trying to collect $2700. After multiple attempts of trying to explain to Verizon that I didn't owe the bill, they refused to rectify the situation. I contacted the Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell, Daly law firm and was connected with a attorney. The attorney contacted Verizon and I later got a letter from them stating that the balance would be removed. The attorney was pleasant and assuring. I am very satisfied with the level of service I received from this law office.

Called to get a consultation and they were extremely rude! They didn't even let me fully explain my situation, over talked me, and then got upset and told me that they have been doing this for 40 years, they know what they're doing, and hope I find someone to represent me and then the phone was disconnected. If they can't listen to what you have to say how can they represent you?
