This law firm is unethical. Take you time and money else where.

I was referred to Trey by a friend who knows him personally. I was very disappointed in the services I received. A very important detail was left out of my divorce. After numerous calls and emails, he finally addressed it six months after the divorce was finalized. He said it would be fixed within a month or else he would give me the money out of his pocket. He stopped taking my calls or replying to emails after the promise was made. That conversation was two years ago this month and I'm having to explore other legal means to take care of it.

When I thought I was finished with my divorce. My ex-husband a couple years later tried to file a lawsuit against me to reduce the the child support and make me pay him a portion of the $10k he owed in child support. I was able to find Mr. Harris through a referral from my previous lawyer since she no longer practiced in Tarrant county. I’m very happy with how awesome of a job Mr. Harris did to help get through this struggle. He was kind, assertive, and upmost honest throughout the whole lawsuit. He was able turn the lawsuit around and get my husband to start paying what he owed in child support. I would 10 out of 10 recommend him if you are looking for a good lawyer.

My case overall resolved to where i needed it to be for custody of my daughter but in between court dates it was nearly impossible to get them to answer the phone and explain to me what was going to happen at court and seemed to never get a call back when promised. The first meeting I was told they could finalize a restraining order for my daughter and i within 24 hours which took almost a week. During that week i was not able to take my daughter to daycare due to not having legal protection which didn't seem to speed anything up for them to follow through with their promise. A week before the final court date i had finally gotten a hold of someone with the office to discuss finances. I asked specifically if the upcoming court date would be any additional charge to what i have already paid. They responded by saying no i have already paid for it. A month after the hearing i received a 550$ bill for services that were not discussed with me. The final court hearing consisted of my baby daddy and i agreeing and all Genevieve did was sit there and wait for our papers to be typed up correctly and signed by a judge which took 2 hours so i was then charged 550$ for her time when if known ahead of time it would have cost that much I would not have had any lawyer. I will definitely be recommending to any family friends or even enemies to NOT EVER USE THEM! After the first meeting when they got their money they just put you on a back burner and show up at court with no discussion in between. To finalize i called and spoke with a receptionist about my charges to discuss why i was still being charged when i was told it was already included with what had already been paid and they still had no answers other than they have to charge for their lawyers time. I expressed that i would not be paying for this since i felt cheated through misguided expectations. When coming on here to write a review my account was blocked which is probably the only reason they have 4.5 stars because anyone expressing dislike is most likely blocked from expressing their experience with this money hungry firm.

This is a great law firm. They actually care about you and listen to your needs. You're not just a "name." Summer is the best paralegal that I've ever had to deal with. She always knows what is going on with the clients and genuinely cares about the best outcome for you. You would definitely be in great hands with her overseeing your case. She obviously has been doing this for several years and has extensive knowledge. Between her and the attorneys, you can not go wrong here.

I wish I could give them no stars. Had to withdraw counsel because of non performance. They gave me false promises, avoided phone calls and were not really helpful in pursuing my child support case. The lady attorney Geneviene is rude and has horrible interpersonal skills. I guess you really get what you pay for when it comes to them. I would not reccomend them to any one.
