Kathryn was able to see me quickly initially, gave me truthful and honest advice, and was compassionate during my divorce. She stood up for me when the divorce became difficult, and did not allow me to be intimidated by the other party. She went out of her way to help me with legal issues that came up as a result of my divorce as well as the divorce itself. I feel that she represented my interests well and was very pleasant to work with. If you are like me, and have had little to no prior experience with lawyers and aren’t sure who to trust, I would highly recommend Ms. Fowler. Her paralegal Ms. Cornelius is also very pleasant, and ensures that you know and understand everything that is going on. Overall I believe that I would use Ms. Fowler’s services again, and recommend her to anyone that desires a no nonsense, straightforward, and experienced attorney.

Very poor communication. Says she will call you end of the week and several weeks go by till you call her. Had to threaten her with the Bar to get her to move my case along after a year. Almost zero advice given at mediation and talked me into very first deal offered saying "this is the best deal your going to get". Would have been better off to not have a attorney at all then be represented by Kathryn Fowler! Very poor DON'T RECOMMEND!

Nice way to lie and respond but you did represent us as one of your clients and you had to be threatened several times. I'm going to now file a grievance with the state Bar so I can maybe jog your memory.. Threatened to sue me over email because I left a bad review for your lack of action on my case... Consequences ya know Kathryn?

Kathryn is the best family law attorney there is! She helped me with my child custody case a few years ago. She is very professional, experienced, "down to earth", and gives great advice. Kathryn and DeAnna (her assistant) are very quick to respond to messages and keep you well informed throughout the process. Kathryn even went above and beyond to fix an issue that arose in my case 2 years later. I would definitely recommend her for any of your family law/attorney needs.

I am so glad I found Kathryn Figueredo Fowler. She was prompt and very professional and got me exactly what I was going for. I highly recommend her if you feel like you are going into a one sided battle against anybody.

I used Katherine for a 1 year long divorce and I would highly recommend her. She is very patient and actually cares for you and the case. Her assistant Deanna is also amazing - you are actually a person with them and not just money coming in. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the both of them!

If I could give a Negative rating, I would! During my phone consultation (which I expected to be private), I soon realized I was on speaker phone, and I could clearly hear people talking in the background which was exposing my privacy.

I had asked a few questions for Fowler and told her a few things about my case. She began judging me right away. She was very abrupt, and she even mentioned of what she heard so far about my situation, she was rude in telling me to just to move to Texas (since I am living in another state) and why would I be stupid enough (And Yes, she called me Stupid!" to be living far away from my child. She continued to talk over me, and interrupt me while I was explaining my case. After hearing her being more judgmental and raising her voice, she then rudely hung up on me! (The circumstance of me living in another state, is that my ex is in the military and moves around).
I would NEVER recommend this individual. She is unprofessional, arrogant, and egotistic!
BEWARE, if you hire her, you would be wasting your time and your money!

My divorce took 2.5 years, I went through 4 lawyers before and was grateful that I found Ms. Fowler. She finalized the divorce for me in 2012 and I wish I went to her first.

Just last year my ex dragged me to court again because of some disagreement. We almost reached an agreement without court hearing but Ms. Fowler insisted on not agreeing with two of the requests. I do not know how she preps for court but she was professional, smart, asking point-blank questions and established that my ex had no case. She did so well in court that we won completely. My ex would have been better off if settled. I was so glad I followed her advise.

When it comes to lawyers, they are not all at the same level- I have a pile of expensive bills to prove it as I had hired and fired quite a few. In the end, Ms. Fowler is someone you can trust to fight a good fight for you, to give you the best advise for your situation and to follow through with a solution.

Wouldn’t recommend at all. Doesn’t itemize your statements properly or at all. Did not communicate well, and honestly took me for more money then she was worth. She told me I’d have to give money back to my child’s father if I didn’t move back to Texas. Felt she favored men over helping women. Don’t bother with her if you want true integrity.

Kathryn handled my case very professionally and gave me very good advice. Thanks to Kathryn I was able to overcome some tough legal challenges. She was quick and very well prepared for my child custody fight.

Kathryn is an expert in her field and is very compassionate towards her clients. If you want someone who represents you a 100% she's the attorney you want!
