Waste of Time and Money. If you are a home buyer looking for recourse against a dishonest seller, please don’t make the same mistake I did by wasting $350 on a consultation fee. The attorney promised to prepare a demand letter for me but could not deliver. She actually promised to have it ready on 2-3 different occasions but handed the work off to an inexperienced litigator without even asking my permission. The second time she promised delivery of the demand letter, she texted me around 2 am saying she was throwing up and would get the letter done asap. After multiple phone calls, I managed to get my $500 back (fee charged upfront for demand letter) for non-performance. I requested reimbursement of the consultation fee as well as I had spent hours documenting everything and sending detailed emails with pictures, invoices, etc. I’m very disappointed as this was more emotional anguish and wasted time and money. Thankfully, I found a more professional firm in Plano; their fees are higher but they deliver as promised.

She got me in for a $350 consultation, which she was available the next day. She’s great at first but i do believe that she takes more than she can handle. It’s been almost two month and I have not received the filing that I paid a ridiculous amount of money for. Considering she has the file to just edit it should not take two months. I called every single day multiple time to get updates but there was never a response, excuse after excuse. I asked for my money back, I found a better attorney who actually is willing to help me.

My husband and I hired Gaylene Lonergan on 5/31/19 to take on our real estate case on behalf of my sister whom has a property in TX. They withdrew the consult fee $350 and retainer fee of $1000 on 6/3/19 and we haven't heard from them since!!! They promised an update on 6/4/19 as to when they would have a demand letter ready and to go through our options in regard to our situation. We have heard nothing. I e-mailed for an update on 6/5, 6/7 and today 6/10. Plus I called and left a voicemail this morning. Nobody answers, nobody calls back. Consumer beware - DO NOT GO WITH THIS LAW FIRM!! I already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well.

Gaylene Lonergan and her team always come through for me! As a real estate investor, I rely on her expertise to navigate the complicated real estate transactions that come up on a regular basis. They always get things done in the necessary time frame which is also crucial with investing. Very friendly staff as well - I always feel welcome in their office!

So far I have nothing bad to say. The first impression I received was one of professionalism and of a hands-on lawyer. The first time I ever called the firm, I spoke directly to Gaylene. Most lawyers won't speak until they've received a card number. When I visited with Gaylene she answered my questions and I have had no issues in getting help with her since that time. I feel she truly loves what she does and does want to help others be successful.

Thanks to Lonergan Law Firm PPLC & Gaylene Rogers Lonergan for all of their help with closing my 1st ever "Subject-To" investor purchase in Jan 2018. I'm an experienced investor with 19 SF rentals and 1,000+ MF units, but had never done a non-traditional purchase. Lonergan Law has closed hundreds of these types of non-traditional transactions and their experience was exactly what was needed for homeowner with pending foreclosure and my 1st “subject to” deal. The Lonergan Law team was able to guide us through issues and unfamiliar parts of this non-traditional transaction…identifying the “true” sales price on “subject to” transaction for sales contract, handling of large pending insurance claim proceeds, handling of Seller’s unknown 2nd mortgage, handling HOA lien, Seller move-out & possession (that I had not thought of), release of Seller funds and funding the deal, and a last minute “single” seller who magically was actually “married”. Thanks again to Lonergan Law for all your help! Contract to closing in a short time frame while making great investor profit and saving homeowners from foreclosure!

I have used the Lonergan Law Firm, as a Real Estate Agent, for multiple closings and have always had excellent service and found both Gaylene and her staff to be totally professional, prepared, and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend the Lonergan Law firm as a Real Estate Law firm, as a Title Company and as a company of integrity that you can count upon.

Wow. Just read the review above and the only reason I came out here was to compliment Lonergan Law Firm (and 3 other companies I've experienced excellent service from) on their firm's professionalism in the many closes I've had with them through the years. All my closes ran smoothly and I found Gaylene, in particular,, to be very helpful to my real estate investor business. In fact, in the years I've worked in real estate, I've taken advantage of a number of the free educational classes she's offered to investors of all levels of experience and they've assisted me in avoiding some of the pitfalls I know others have fallen into and I'm sure there's very few law firms and/or title businesses that do that. I would highly recommend Lonergan Law Firm. (To the person above, I'm sorry to hear about your experience, just not what I've heard from others or experienced myself...)
