Mr. Carpenter listens and understand his clients. He is dedicated to help people resolve their legal matters. He is knowlegable and profecifent in various case matters. Office staff are professional and friendly. This office goes beyond the typical firm and builds a trusting relationship with clients. I would not go anywhere else for my legal matters.

They got my address wrong on my divorce decree. I called to have them fix it but was told that the paralegal handling my case wasn't there and the paralegal working now said that she shouldn't have to fix work she didn't do.... I never got to speak with that paralegal. The kind young lady that was helping me out, kept putting me on hold while she relayed the messages between me and the paralegal. I thought that was very unprofessional. The attorney that handled my case was very nice though but I did have a hard time getting someone to call me back. I need someone to contact me to get this resolved but I cant get a hold of anyone other than the young lady answering the phone. I spoke to another attorney and they told me that this was a simple nunc pro tunc and that Carpenter and Associates should have to fix their mistake.. and that I shouldn't have to pay for it... after all, it wasn't my mistake. They do this for a living... they are the professionals..but it really is hard to talk to somebody. I will keep trying though..

Josh Carpenter handled my divorce and separation a couple of years ago. He was awesome. Josh is insightful, compassionate, and a great advocate for his clients. He is very intelligent, has a great staff and his charging practices are also fair. I highly recommend Josh and his practice.

Mr. Carpenter walked me through a brutal, emotional, and unexpected divorce of a 24 year marriage. I could not have done it without him, and recommend him to everyone.

A straight up nightmare. Before the hearing I talked to David, who seems to be the boss, and to Josh. In court, a young apprentice shows up and they instruct him AT THE DOOR, in two minutes - he was absolutely unaware of the case. The bosses leave, and this guy starts his speech with exactly the opposite of what we discussed. I wanted full custody, and they confirmed we have all chances, MY LAWYER says "we know we cannot get full custody, but can we have SOMETHING temporary?"
Later they said they fired him, turned to not be true.
Then they stopped responding to my emails and calls. I could disbar them, based on not returning my calls for months and not sending me the papers related to my case. All I received was ever growing bills, which they said was a system error.
Absolute disaster. Not a shadow of professionalism. Your own lawyers working against you, this is what you get, when working with these people.

I feel like he’s got my back at all times and I very much appreciate that!. I’m not just a number but an individual with him and that’s important to me!

Im a person who likes to know what im paying up front and don’t like any surprises. When I spoke with Josh he was understanding and laid everything out on what I would pay to start and what I would pay monthly which I was perfectly fine with. Two weeks into the case the office manager who is very rude and unprofessional tried to bill me separately and stated she don’t care what me and Josh talked about her time is money and to continue with my case I would need to pay her or she would drop me as a client. Once I asked to speak with Josh she said he would say the same and I’ll be wasting my time. I still wanted to talk with him on where the confusion took place and tried calling the office multiple times to get ahold of him. Only good thing I can say about them is they show their true colors a month in so I really didn’t waste that much money on them instead I went with a different law firm. But to anyone reading this I’ll suggest you keep your money and go to a different law firm that’s more professional and willing to listen to their clients.

I can honestly say, Mr. Carpenter has been more patient and.has had more understanding than words could ever say. The integrity of this man and his firm are absolutely beyond question. I absolutely recommend them. They're genuinely good people.

my son was kidnapped by his father & I have full custody of him. Elizabeth Wilburn was my son father attorney but when she found out that this was a kidnapping case she called Josh & 3 days later she wasn’t on the case no more instead it was a woman named Felicia Adams. I was told to come to court but never got served & Felicia threatens to take my child when a attorney cannot do that. I tried to contact Josh but I haven’t gotten any response. Be aware of this company they are unprofessional and help criminals. Watch out for this company.

These attorneys have a lot of experience, they know what they are talking about. This firm will get the job done.

If they had negative stars id rate negative 10. Josh will lie to you and steal your money. Promise you everything that sounds good to ignore your calls and charge you for every call and email you make to find out whats going on with your case bc he wont ever keep you updated bc hes never doing any work on your case really!! In 3 days our new attorney has done more than Josh has done in a year, and the new attorneys total cost was less than what Josh charged us for emails. Ridiculous. Malpractice is an understatement, I would ask for my money back but I doubt he even has it to give back. Do not waste your time or money because you will guaranteed lose your money and he won't do anything for you but waste your time and lose your case. Horrible experience. Horrible money hungry fraudulent lawyer that will bill you outrageously for anything he can. Shouldn't even be able to practice law.

When I contacted Josh Carpenter I was by no means rich, and fighting just to keep my visitation. Josh and his firm have been great with helping me fight for my rights and working with me financially. I honestly do not know where I would be without them. Any custody case is an emotional train wreck and they have made sure I have not crashed and burned. They actually care about peoples situation, and doing the right thing. I am grateful to each and every one of them.

Should deserve 0 stars, from having full custody to end up paying child support and being the non custodial parent. I payed for Joshua to show to the court room and instead I receive a parallegal who sided with the other attorney, flirting with her, and then forcing me to sign paperwork for child support, he told me if not signed I will have to pay $700 or more a month. This was when I was 22, and now still paying child support. I really would not recommend these crooks, he also charges for every email sent. Find a better attorney!

IN SHORT, HE NAILS THE STEREOTYPE THAT LAWYERS ARE SLEEZY UNETHICAL TOOLS THAT DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE BETTERMENT OF HUMANITY.

I wish I could give a -5 star. Totally unprofessional. Told my daughter that the total amount to handle her case was $2500...once he got the money, she could never get in touch with him. When she finally talked to someone they were rude and kept billing for work that was never done. When she called the courthouse she was told that he just filed one part if my case. CON-ARTIST!!!
