When I first met crystal I was a bit nervous considering this was my first time hiring a lawyer for anything. I quickly noticed her determination when she was taking notes during the consultation. She looked up criminal records and court orders well before we had decided to hire her or not. Hiring her was the best decision we had ever made. Crystal fought for us like I had never seen anything like it before. Crystal and her staffs determination and efforts were amazing. When I first met Crystal and her staff I was at THE lowest of my life, not one of the lowest... THE lowest. My child was wrongfully taken from me the day before I consulted with Crystal. I was frantic. During the 1 hour consultation Crystal produced about 10 to 15 pages of hand written notes, looked up criminal records, court orders, etc as if I had already hired her. She reiterated the case back to me for clarification and gave me a game plan from her perspective (what she would do if she was hired) while remaining completely transparent and disclosing the good and not-so-good about my case.

My sister passed away unexpectedly at the age of 34 and left behind three young children who our family adore. The two oldest were fathered by her husband of 10 years. Her and her husband separated but remained best friends. She welcomed her third child with someone else several years later. His father was in and out of the picture. This was unexpected, unnecessary, and heartbreaking for our family who was already devastated by the loss of my sister. For weeks we didn’t know where he was, who he was with, if he was being fed, or how he was doing being away from his siblings and the only family he’s ever known. When I found a Crystal I was an emotional wreck. What I really appreciated about a Crystal was that she was very straight forward. The last thing I needed was false hope, but she stuck to the legality of our situation and still showed compassion for our loss. Grandparents and siblings don’t have the rights in the state of Texas that we were hoping for, but it didn’t stop her from fighting for our family. We needed a miracle and we got several, one of those miracles was Crystal. Long story short we have sole custody of my nephew. Unfortunately his father wasn’t fit and hasn’t been around, but he is the happiest kid. He’s got such a great support system with our family. My sisters husbands treats him like he’s one of his. He is thriving in school, he plays football and basketball, we travel all the time, but more importantly my sisters children are together and our family has been able to grieve the loss of my sister TOGETHER. We have used the Law Office of Crystal L. Gayden for several years! Most recently my husband got a warrant because he literally was one day late paying for a speeding ticket.
