Hire this guy if you want your divorce to take as long as possible!!
My abusive, soon-to-be ex-wife, hired this attorney to defend her in the order of protection case that I filed against her as well as the divorce. She was served 1/23/19. They filed the divorce petition February 4th, 2019 and they have YET TO HAVE ME SERVED!! So if you want your divorce to take as long as humanly possible, this is the guy you should hire. My lawyer has called repeatedly and there is no response!
He also said that our order of protection hearing would take 3 hours. So we had to sit and wait all day in Travis county for a courtroom to open up for a 3 hour trial. Once we got in the courtroom it took 45 minutes. So he got paid $250 to $300 an hour to just sit and wait.
On the 5th of February a subpoena was served to deputy Ybarra to speak on my behalf in the order of protection case that was to be heard on the 6th of February.
I haven't moved. I still work the same job from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. I still have the same phone number. So I'm not quite sure what the holdup is but I'm ready to get on with my life and leave this in the past!
