You both were amazing and a steady support during this horrible event. You kept cool heads and were always quick to respond with a solid plan to get through whatever was thrown at us. You were right, I am so much better off where I am and have an amazing bright future ahead of me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. I couldn’t have fought this battle without your skill and knowledge of the process and system.

Jim Padish handled my highly contentious divorce and I could not be more grateful to him and his team. During a difficult time, Jim advocated for me and also taught me a great deal about advocating for myself. He has a one of the sharpest legal minds around, and shows tremendous compassion and patience for his clients. It is rare to find attorney's with both traits and Jim has them in spades.

Many attorneys and clients will tell you it’s a bad idea to go by online reviews versus word of mouth attorney referrals because one angry or difficult client can ruin a business with one or two not so great reviews. I’ve also heard horror stories of angry exes leaving false reviews of attorneys. While this is often true, I’ve decided to leave a review for those of you who choose to read reviews online. James Padish was referred to me by my coach; she had worked with him a number of times before in various types of cases. She only had wonderful things to say about his many years of expertise as a lawyer and judge. She also mentioned he’s great at prioritizing and seeing the big picture. I definitely agree with her. Jim Padish helped me win a complex international divorce case, and has been excellent in dealing with the high conflict personality of my ex. He’s helped calm many fears I had about the process, and since the beginning I’ve felt like I have a kind and caring uncle looking out for me. His staff has been excellent, friendly and helpful. In particular, Alicia Gallo has been nothing but attentive and is always prompt in her responses.

It's no coincidence that Jim Padish has been voted one of the valleys super lawyers twice and one of the best divorce lawyers in America the past two consecutive years. Spending over half a decade as a judge in Maricopa County before opening his own practice, the connections he forged and relationships he built during that time are invaluable. He is admired by all of his peers and everyone at the courthouse shows him the utmost respect.

Jim is well versed and in all types of litigation. He has conducted numerous trials, from civil, criminal, white collar, and all the way up to capital murder. He knows the system inside it out and will never give you bad advice. His staff is prompt, communicative, and professional. His office is clean and everyone is very friendly. I would recommend Jim Padish to anyone looking for a lawyer for any type of civil or criminal case.

If you would like to waste your money and a year of your time, hire Mr. Padish to handle your divorce. A very simple divorce that should have taken "a few months" in Mr. Padishs' own words cost over $5,ooo and over 12 months....and still no divorce! Retained a new lawyer in November, divorce will be final the end of December.

Robert Budolff mediated my divorce. The mediation contract was so poorly written by Mr Budolff that I am still in my divorce some 12 months and $20,000 later. (my x wife has now filed an appeal) I ended up deposing Mr Budolff and he said he kept no notes, had no real recollection of the facts and supposed the mediation contract should have said something different. Not what I had expected for $400 an hour. After I thought the trial was over I wrote to Mr Budolff and ask him for a refund or at least an explanation of why he did not think I deserved one. After all he was paid $2800 for just several hours of work and he admitted under oath that he didn't even know what the mediation contract was supposed to say. He never responded to me. Mr. Budolff is no longer a judge but a private business man who was hired to do a job and he performed so poorly doing his job that he has caused more problems for everyone involved. His silence is what caused me to relate my experience to you. I would stay far away from Padish & Wells and Robert Budolff. If this review sounds bitter I will will say I ultimately prevailed in the case in spite of having my mediator work against me so this is not bitter but a warning to get better professionals than at this law firm.

Update.....

Somehow during the process Mr Padish got involved between myself, X wife, and the title company on the sale of my house. I thought this strange because he was never an attorney of record on this case. It is a Mr John Poplick who is my X wife's attorney whom I though should have responded. I am not sure of Mr Poplicks affiliation with the firm other then he rents space there but his email is just a gmail account. (warning...stay away from attorneys with gmail accounts) Anyway, Mr Paddish's grandstanding and saber rattling with the title company was ineffectual and the noise went nowhere. Again not bitterness because I won out in this matter as well. Just another warning about the people in this firm.

James Padish is one of the best attorney's I have worked with ever. He is so knowledgeable, easy to talk to, always available and just an all around nice guy. He goes out of his way to help his clients. he is not all about the money but about helping his clients out. He is great to work with and I recommend him to everyone! You can't go wrong with James Padish.
