As you can see there is a reason they have a 3.6 star rating, PLEASE stay away from this company there are way better out there. I worked with the gentleman Seppelli and you was a total scam artist. We had gone in there and told the gentleman that we only had 3,000.00 to pay for this child custody hearing and could not pay anything more. He had reviewed my case and said that he probably wouldn't even come close to that amount and would be able to take our case. During the trial he was very unorthodox and pushed stuff that honestly made me look like a tyrant that i did not agree with but kept telling me "no this is what we have to do" During the trial it self he didn't seem that knowledgeable about my concerns and what i was trying to get and that i didn't want child support and so on and so forth but kept pushing the issue. He would bill me for emails "even though he said emails dont cost anything. He would bill me 400$ for a 30 second phone call asking when i was coming to court. All in all this company is not a trust worthy company and i would not recommend this company to anyone. He tried to get me to pay 1600$ above the 3,000.00 so i dropped him. An finished the court case with another attorney and won. This company will try and hit you with fees that they do not explain and do not give you a heads up on at all. All they do is hand you a bill at the end of the month and deduct what they want to. They never told me during the monthly bill what they was charging me for and how much it would be if we did "such and such" they just charged and expected me to pay. I found a different lawyer and they took my case pro-bono because of the awful job that this company did and told me the letter they sent to me saying i had to pay the remaining balance WAS FALSE and do not pay it. So i didn't pay the balance and hired the other attorney and never heard from them again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I reached out to Giancarlo at the beginning of my severance case. I was very confident in the Family Law category but dealing with Juvenile law was new to me. He took one look at my paperwork and told me I could handle it on my own and not to pay him. This was during a free consultation! It was clear to me that Giancarlo did not do this just for the money, rather because he cared. He told me to come back if I felt I was backed into a corner. Not long after, the case turned into a contested case and I knew I was going back to Giancarlo for the help I needed. After a second free consultation he picked up my case. The retainer process was also amazing as the work he did slowly ate away at the retainer I had on file. I added money as i wanted and needed. In the end, the respondent in my case changed his mind and this became a non contested case. I without a doubt am sure that this was because I had such a great and confident attorney on my side. He answered emails and questions quickly and never made me feel I was being used or taken advantage of. Vanessa in the front office was great as well, even getting my questions answered while Giancarlo was on vacation! Thank you guys again for aiding me through one of the scariest times of my life! My ex husband had me served with papers disputing child support and custody many years after our divorce. I consulted a few attorneys before I met with Giancarlo Sapelli at the Law Office of Katherine Kraus. I knew right away that I needed to hire him. He was very confident and knowledgeable and was already coming up with strategies. He was understanding of the fact that I am a single mother and was not receiving any child support, so my funds were limited. He did his best to close this case with the outcome I desired in a timely manner. He could have drawn it out but he just wanted resolution for me and my children. I am happy to say that I am now receiving child support and he was able to get the custody petition dropped, so I still have sole custody of my children. My children and I are extremely grateful for him and his dedication to our case. If I ever have another family law issue come up in the future, he will be my first call.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! A loss of $2600! She even charged extra for a conversation outside the courtroom before going in, it was a review of a previous conversation. Also she didn't know the laws which should be general knowledge and charged $350 to do her own research so she would know what to do. Kim Staley has no idea what she is doing! She was awful in the courtroom and didn't even know when an objection was appropriate. The judge had to ask her why she was objecting then over ruled each time, then she'd didn't object when the other team was rambling about previous incidents that has nothing to do with the day in question. We had to let her go ..... Do yourself a favor and keep looking!

Completely unprofessional. Seemed more concerned about money than anything. We actually spent more time talking about payment possibilities than my actual case. Showed up for court late. I lost custody of my kids on account of her lack of ability and professionalism. If you are reading this you have been forewarned. Find someone else to represent you!

Absolutely unprofessional and a waste of money and time...I had my case in the bag and paid her for her to ruin the entire thing...all she was ever worried about was payment...$1000 got 2x 15 min hearings that she didn't express (1) thing I asked her to....was late to court and never even discussed the details of the case until the day of the hearings.. Was the worst waste if time and money...she should be flipping burgers..

I retained Katherine in a child custody case with my ex (same sex couple) over a child that my ex adopted although the law at the time did not allow same sex couples to adopt together we were not allowed to, I have, from day one been a parent to our child, after we separated we both co-parented the child for three years, until my ex developed a new relationship with her new partner and decided she no longer wanted our child and I to have a mother/daughter relationship and attempted to sever our relationship, when I contacted Katherine she was very respectful in handling this case as to the sensitivity of the previous law (no longer the law now). Katherine was helpful and always looked at my case with putting my child and our bond first and foremost.
Today my daughter and I are back together and we couldn't be happier.
