Although my husband and I didn’t end up going through her for his immigration, she was extremely kind, had a great demeanor, and was clearly knowledgeable.

Initially we took the advice of a friend and tried to do all of our paperwork through an adviser. After waiting 18 months and getting a letter of Intent to Deny, my husband and I began to look for an immigration attorney and kept getting refused do the fact they were afraid to lose my case. We had spoke to one immigration attorney and she had refereed us over to Alicia since she was not going to be in the office that following week, we thank you so very much for that referral. Alicia took my case and made me feel very confident and explained in detail the steps we needed to take. She was able to help me get everything filed correctly and resolve my case within a year of the first day seeing her. She was such a pleasure to work with and have on my side I would recommend Alicia to anyone looking for help with getting their life on track in America.

Back in 2014 I had found Alicia who said she would take on my case for my husband. We believed we were in good hands and we believed in her. I ran around everywhere getting all the paperwork she asked for. I did everything imaginable getting certified copies and our marriage cert. From Guatemala the list was endless but I believed that in the end my husband would come home and my son and I and him could be a family again. So I believed it was all worth it.. 4 yrs later we finally get our appt at the Guatemalan embassy and the weekend before my husband and i realized that alicia had not done anything on his case much less it seemed even opened his file in the 4 yrs we had been working with her. She had nothing prepared for his meeting that the embassy asked for and she had mislead us on how to fill out the paperwork or questionnaire online for the interview. We had looked to her for total guidance and she dropped the ball 100% . She stated she was waiting for us to fill it out so she knew what to have ready for us and we were looking to our atty on how to fill out the questionnaire. This was back in feburary. Then she decided because I insulted her that she wasnt going to continue representing my husband any longer. It was 100% her fault and she broke my heart that she screwed everything up for us after almost 5 yrs of running around and believing 1 day my husband would be able to come home to our baby .we believed in her ..since then my husband has been denied because of that interview and since given up hope and my child and I are devastated.. we no longer talk to him unfortunately alicia screwed everything up so bad and now all the time and money I put into this in the past 4.5 yrs was for nothing. Lost !! This is heart breaking for me because i put all my trust and hopes into Alicia that she knew what she was doing and that she had read his case and knew his background or at least paid attention to any number of conversations/emails we had regarding his past history. But no she had no clue .. and made excuses beyond belief.. she ripped my Hope's and dreams and family apart and took the financial aid I had used to pay her .. everything is gone and my son will never know what it's like to have his daddy here home with him. And I have no more money to pay anyone else much less start this long time consuming process over from the beginning. While my husband has now lost all hope he had for that last 4.5 yrs .. It's so incredibly heartbreaking to me after everything I put into the process .. thanks for nothing Alicia..

How dare you alicia even say my husband provided any false information .we were looking to you on how to fill out that paperwork .. and all you spoke about was one charge. So we assumed based on your answers that we only needed to provide the charge.. I handed you his entire deportation paperwork of 300 pages or more and watched you look over it. Not to mention on multiple other times spoke about misdemeanor violations he had and you clearly weren't paying any attention to me. Not to mention when I had asked on a couple different instances if my husband and I could call u 3 way so you could speak to him you declined saying there wasnt a need. U did nothing but go to 1 appt I had at the immigration office here in phx and then charge me like crazy when I would email you questions ... my husband and I were putting our faith in you and you didnt even have the decency to look into his case clearly much less listen to me in the 4 yrs when I spoke of his misdemeanor offenses.. in one ear and out the other.. and 4500 might not be much to you but when I am only working min. Wage and trying to provide for my young child while considered homeless it was to me .. we looked to you for how to fill the paperwork out .. and YOU DROPPED THAT BALL 100%... and now you feel that you can blame myself or my husband .. you are a horrible and nasty human Alicia and you have ripped my family apart with no concern for what you have done.. do not ever blame us when we looked to you for guidance and put our blind faith in you!

I do not recommend this lawyer at all! I had a free consultation with her and she gave me all the wrong information. She told me my husband had a 5 year bar and had a 95% chance of being denied a visa. I left her office hopeless. Lucky I went to other more knowledgeable and responsible lawyers who actually took the time to look at the paperwork I had. A year later my husband had a visa in hand with no problems at all.

We went with her when she was recommended by our jobs management for the renewal of my fiance's DACA. I do not regret going through her and she has been the kindest down to earth lawyer I've ever met.

UPDATE: Only 4 weeks have passed and my fiancé has received his new DACA card! It only took a max of a week and a half for his biometrics to be scheduled. Only 5 days after his fingerprints appointment, did he get approved again for it :) never been this happy with time!

If you want to do everything by yourself and still get charged. This is your gal. The day prior to my embassy interview I realized that none of the paperwork she provided (which she charged $4500.00) was not what was asked for. She immediately blamed me and my wife. Who by the way was the one running around all over the Phoenix area spending money, while still trying to support our son on a minimum salay. I really don't know what she charged us for. But I'm glad to present more than enough proof of her incompetence. Would not recommend her. Very very poor job of handling MY case.

I had urgent issues on two separate days and Ms. Heflin quickly responded with helpful information each time. She was in court on the second issue, and still found time to respond quickly.

She was also very fairly priced, professional and genuinely cares.

What more could you hope for in an attorney?

Highly recommended!

I had a great experience working with Alicia. She is a true professional, punctual, very kind and reassuring throughout the process. She is also very personable, she gave her mobile number to contact/text her directly when needed. When e-mailing her she was always prompt to respond. She guided me throughout my green card process until our final interview. Thanks again for everything so far!!!

A caring and reliable professional! I have worked closely with Mrs. Heflin for the past year to get my green card application approved. Not only is she a hard working lawyer, she is always available to answer questions and will make sure you understand the entire process. She is extremely resourceful, has a lot of experience and has always gone the extra mile for my case. I feel blessed to have found her and would highly recommend her services to anyone in need of an immigration attorney.

This woman, for an attorney, is about as down to earth as they get.
She fully explained everything, in detail, so that I could comprehend even the fine print.
AND, she was even person enough, and I know that this is one in a million, to tell me that I really don't need her services and have the ability to do it all myself!
Now how many attorneys are like that? Like I said, one in a million.
Loved her! Will forward her name to anyone who needs her specialized services!

I was referred to Alicia by a co worker.

Our initial correspondence was helpful and she assisted us before even asking for payment. Things progressed to a formal consultation where she explained the process as well as detailing her services and costs involved. Once we hired her, she gave us great peace of mind in knowing we had an experienced immigration attorney handling our case.

Alicia was always easy to email and she gave us answers to our questions as the process went through it's course. We know the benefit of having a competent person handling such important matters. Thus our reason in hiring an attorney in the first place.

Alicia exceeded our expectations with her demeanor and genuine interest in us as a couple going through the immigration process.

Things went very smoothly for us with USCIS and the entire process.

Everyone's case is different, best to have experienced counsel like Alicia. I would hire her again and have referred her to family since.
