I wish I weren't limited to giving John Gomez only 5 stars. I'm not a client of their firm, but an attorney. Whenever I have a complex serious injury case I bring John and his amazingly dedicated, hard working, competent staff on board.
For example recently our firm and Gomez Trial Attorneys resolved some very challenging defective knee replacement cases that were worked up by his mass tort team. They are second to none.
Every member of his staff who were involved knew the clients' stories personally. This is really unique in mass torts because it involves a lot of hurt people.
I also have worked with John and the attorneys at GTA on serious injury auto accidents, medical device and defective drug cases. Most attorneys want to feel like they have gone the extra mile for their clients. To me that extra mile is Gomez Trial Attorneys.

This is the best law firm in San Diego for a reason. I was lucky to have my case picked up by the Gomez Trial Attorneys after I was struck by a car while crossing the street. This was an unexplainably painful time in my life, and, as a 22 year old college student, I did not know what to do. I met Max Halpern, who is the lawyer that represented my case, a week later. Even though I did not know at the time, I could not have been in better hands.
I kept on with my studies, daily life, and physical and mental recovery as Max silently worked hard at my case. All though out my experience, Max kept in constant contact, updating and informing me of everything I needed to know. then one day it was over and Max had won big.
I do not know if it is appropriate to share details of a settlement but I will say that this team took the ugliest, hardest, most painful experience of my life and turned it into something boundlessly positive.

Growing up I never had to experience any type of lawsuit and didn’t know much about the legal process. It was in the early 2000’s that a family member was sued in San Francisco. My relatives lawyer then seemed unconcerned of her emotional well being and also charging a large fee. Her lawyer then told her to sell her property and move back into her old house, which was the basis of the lawsuit. Only to tell her that she should settle out of court and pay the plaintiffs off. The lawyer was not an experienced trial lawyer and just wanted to make sure he was paid off by my relative and had no intentions to go to court and fight for her. Because of this experience I was cautious of lawyers.

10 years later….

I find myself in a lawsuit that I would not wish my worst enemy would have to go through. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. This time my home was in jeopardy because of greed from ones that I thought that Loved me and I them. It is sad when money and greed tears apart a family. It is also of great sadness when Loved ones take advantage of a relative with Alzheimers and dementia, to use that sick person against the very ones they lived and provided for.
