Called in to speak to miles to potentially use him to fight my DUI case. First things first I told him I was shopping around to find an attorney to fight my case and automatically asked what my budget was and what I had been quoted (that shows all he cares about is money). After that I told him that someone who asks that question wants to ballpark what they are gonna charge me so money isn't the issue it's more of shopping around to figure out who I want to represent me based on their expertise. He immediately showed his ego by responding his firm is the one police officers go to when they have a DUI and then rudely responded with I don't wanna waste either of our time but we aren't gonna be a good fit and hung up on me. Didn't go over my case or anything. Definitely not someone I'd want to handle my case with.

Do you believe in Miracles? Except at Christmas and Easter I didn’t. Do you believe what they say in commercials on talk radio? That falls somewhere between doubtful and “you have got to be kidding”.

Someone very close to me got a flat tire while going home from a company party. She pulled over to change it when a police car pulled in behind her and instead of helping with the tire she was arrested for DUI. All her friends would say to her, “don’t worry about it just get that “Top Gun” guy and you will be fine”. But what they were thinking was more like, “pack your bags, put out the cat and kiss your derriere goodbye”.

Well the jury trial went on seemingly forever, but I have to tell you… now, “I believe”. He took command of the proceedings from the start; Perry Mason couldn’t have done a better job. He smothered the prosecution and when he got through with the Officers that took her in, we were all ready to take up a collection to send them back to Police Officer School so they could learn how to do their job correctly.

For years and years I've heard the Miles L. Berman radio spots, so when the time came and I needed a good DUI defense attorney, of course I called him. It was pretty easy to recall the number. Anyway, they stepped in and gave me great advice, immediately reducing my stress levels about my pending case. In the end, they got my case dismissed, and I was overjoyed, especially since the police had pulled some shady stuff on me that I won't get into. I'd much rather pay an attorney to get my case dismissed than pay all those fees and other headaches that arise when you get arrested for this.

I came to Mr. Berman in a time of great need. I was in a difficult situation and, as much as I hate to admit it, I was a real wreck. Mr. Berman was patient, understanding and, most of all, very capable. I spoke with 4 attorneys about my options. By far, Mr Berman was the most knowledgeable. More than that, he was, how can I put this... He seemed to be excited at the notion of fighting for me. That's when I knew I hired the real 'Top Gun. I went to court to support my associate in a DUI trial. At first glance it seemed that my friend had less than a 50/50 chance. The trial was a long one, for some reason and seemed to drag on and on.
