i have never dealt with so-called professionals that seem to hate their chosen career....they never return calls and may visit the inmate once

They didn't even contact my friend and let him know they changed his lawyer. He had been writing the man who was his lawyer and they did not let him know they changed his lawyer. Leaving people besided

Leaves hours before the business day is over. I came to the office at 4:20pm and the security with an attitude stated that their office been closed hours ago. Online says they close at 5pm, in reality they close whenever they see fit. No accountability whatsoever.

They don't care about your case, and they are never in the office. I would like to report this ENTIRE OFFICE. This is sad because they have people cases with severe crimes and they don't care about helping their client

Can not properly Represent anyone as case load is to large. Doesnt return calls. I dont thunk even looked at my file

I called my sons Public Defender yesterday and spoke with his assistant who then let me leave a VM on his phone. Then I read the reviews for this office. I did not see any good reviews so I immediately began to pray. Mr. Michael Kelly returned my call in less than 24 hrs. To help me understand whats going on with my sons case. I left this review because I know that Public Defenders often get a bad wrap but my experience was positive. Thank you again Mr. Michael Kelly for your service.

This office is horrible for service to the client the lady and the man that answers the phone are rude and won't let you talk plus the lawyer acting like I'm irritating her just asking simple questions and never has an answer. For me and i feel like I'm not going to get a fair trial or be represented well because of the color of my skin and the level of my intelligence and the Da offered me 15 years for defending myself against my crack head cousin that didn't get charged for striking me first and I'm disabled what's wrong with this picture

Public Defenders have an ethical obligation to keep their caseloads manageable.If the public defender is not investigating the facts of his client case or communicating regularly and effectively with the client how in the world can he/she get a fair defense? And they don’t return calls their never available and the lady that answers the phone is very rude and unprofessional! I wish someone would investigate that place.

So far, i expected things to go as it has. what some ppl don't seem to realized is that there is an over population of arrest and incarceration..shameful! but there are also a limited amount of attorneys and court staff to go around as will. i would like to complain too but, should I? when i call, the staff has been nothing but professional and courteous to me. my son has been there since Feb ,we the family are not happy about the situation, its a total disruption in his life and our as well...but i thank God!!that He has patience...So i hope that the Attorneys that are assigned to him are THE BEST DARN DEFENCE ATTORNEYS IN THE STATE OF GA!!! im Banking on that because these attorneys, we are now retaining them. and they have work loads Waaay over their heads..its the nature of the profession. so God bless everyone and stay involved and ,stay on the phones, keep calling..and dont give up! its only a matter of time.

The older lady that answers the phone is horrible. This is truly sad. They give you the run around all week and you are wasting your time if you think someone in that office will help you

My son in in jail since last April of last year. He has only seen his public defender once in 10 months. Had a scheduling in may this year and now just heard it will be in August. No one will speak to me. I called the public defenders office and wanted to speak to Todd Martin's to discuss and was told by the women answring the phone that there was nothing I could do and no one I could speak to. My son amd his couselor in jail has wrote letters but no answer.This is so frustrating to know that if you do not have money they will punish you Before you even go to court. These attorneys are bound by law to provide adequate representation. But that is not what is happening. They ought to be ashamed of them self.

My husband Billy Ray Sullins has been in chatham county jail since NOV. OF LAST YEAR...NOBODY WILL EVEN COME SEE HIM FROM THERE OFFICE..HE'S BEEN GIVING THREE DIFFERENT LAWYERS BUT THEY WILL NOT COME SEE HIM OR EVEN TAKE HIM TO COURT. THEY WON'T EVEN HELP HIM TO GET A BOND. YES THAT'S RIGHT...NOV. TILL END OF JAN. STILL SEEN NOBODY AND NO BOND.....
