I highly recommend using Ami for your divorce/child custody case. My particular case had some very trying factors and Ami was always there to answer questions as well as giving me honest upfront advice/ answers. My case went on for two years (due to certain circumstances) Ami, Kelly, and Charity were always willing to help and answer the complex questions regarding my case. Ami Delorenzo is an awesome lawyer that i would highly recommend. I was referred to her by my brother who retained her over 5 years ago. After hearing all the goods things he mentioned, I decided to have Ami represent me. After almost 2 years of her working on my child custody case and representing me in court, everything worked out in my favor and I have my daughter back in my life. Ami was very attentive, helpful, respectful, and punctual. She never tried to pressure me into anything or tried to persuade me into making current decisions on the parenting plan, she always showed respect for my wants in the case. Even when I would communicate with her assistant Charity and Kelli they were always very polite and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

She was seemingly stressed, maybe overloaded with cases atm during the free phone consult. We were shopping around and have had three consultations this week. I recently used The DiLorenzo Law firm to represent me in my family law case. I am a young single father, the mother of my child moved out of state 14 days after giving birth to my daughter and kept her away from me for the first 11 months of her life. DEDICATION is the word that comes to mind when I think of Ami and her team. My children were being abused not just physically but mentally as well and for the longest time, I can remember not having a voice. I started using Ami after having a horrible experience from a previous attorney. Ami appeared to be a little abrasive in the beginning BUT, there was a reason behind it. I am a talker and long winded. Although I did not think that she was hearing me, or understanding my situation, what she was doing was actually preparing me for trial. She taught me how to answer questions as they were asked and not to ramble on about irrelevant thoughts or points I was trying to make. DON'T get me wrong, she is nice and friendly, and good to work with, but she has some sharp edges. BUT, don't let that phase you, she used those sharp edges in court to defend me. The opposing attorney questioned me for hours. The entire time, Ami was attentive, objected when the questions were asked multiple times, objected when the opposing attorney was more or less harassing me, and she was very well prepared. The questions that Ami asked in court, made me realize that she WAS listening to me, she had heard me, and she worked her butt off to prepare for my case and to WIN my case. I can't really explain the full details of court, but wow!! I left the court room knowing I made the right decision in hiring her. She did more than I expected and her thought process and how she responded to things was very impressive. I WOULD definitely hire and use her again and I would most certainly recommend her to my friends if needed.

my experience with Ami Dilorenzo began on July 20, 2015. on this day i signed a contract with Ami l. Dilorenzo p.a. after a brief conversation about my divorce. as soon as we finished our conversation, Ami gave me immediately an appointment. i felt very comfortable with her immediately because she assured me right away that she would give me her best legal representation. Ami, gave me a very reasonable fee for my case which had two parts.

Her office is located in the historic section of Ocala. upon entering her law office, i was greeted by one of her paralegal named Kelly. i was very impressed with her office since every room that i could look into were very organized, clean and inviting. Kelly is a very skilled person who pays close attention to details, always kept a professional attitude and always provided me with any information that i needed during the entire divorce.

As i already mentioned there were two parts to my divorce which Ami was very thorough by explaining to me that she must first take care of a domestic violence injunction from the respondent wife before the filing of any divorce proceedings. Ami's knowledge of domestic violence laws was able to successfully prove my innocence to the judge and therefore the order was dismissed for insufficient evidence. after this hearing Ami began and initiated the proceedings for the dissolution of marriage of my divorce with very tactical professional language. i was always provided with copies of motions, documents of productions, and hearing dates on time. Ami always returned my phone calls in a timely manner and answered my emails the same way. On my initial consultation she had explained to me that divorces can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Ami and her staff were able to complete my divorce in exactly 8 months including the dismissal of a domestic violence injunction. i am very happy with my final judgement order and i feel protected from it.

I am so glad that I went to attorney Amy Dilorenzo to handle which to me was to me a complicated divorce case. There were many sensitive issues and details that concerned me, but Ms. Dilorenzo explained all the matters carefully to me and worked swiftly to resolve my case to my complete satisfaction. Ami has been my lawyer now for 6 years. While I originally contacted her for her services regarding my divorce I didn't realize how much a commitment to her clients she really gives. My experience with Ms. Ami diLorenzo has been positive in every aspect. As per the below 5 star rating states, while you're going through an emotionally trying time, a professional lawyer who has the skill to keep you grounded is imperative. Ms. diLorenzo is an established, reputable attorney who made what was one of the most difficult times in my life, a distant memory. And, as my rating suggests, I would highly recommend her.

This is a horrible lawyer. She will tell you it costs $2,000 - $4,000 for a divorce then she will do anything and everything to make your case as expensive as possible. She will talk down to you and make you feel like a criminal. She is very hard to deal with and not a good person at all. Once she has your retainer she will take her sweet time in helping you,, it took her 6 months to file some very important paperwork to keep my ex from beating me. I later found that all she had to do was file a very simple form. I was abused over and over again in front of my children because of her fake promises and since I gave her all of my money I had no one else to turn to. She will also find any reason to call you and charge you over $100.00 per phone call to ask pointless questions to make her more money. I feel sorry for anyone that has hired her. I have talked to several other lawyers around Ocala and they also agreed she is very very difficult to deal with. Ami Dilorenzo will also laugh at your problems and ignore very very important details that can win your case. This includes violent abuse. She does this so your case takes longer and you have to pay her more. Please, please, please,,, shop around before you even think about giving this snake a dime!! If you want an expensive drug out family case then hire her. If you like being laughed at when you talk about your abusive husband then also hire her. I will never forget how she giggled when I talked of my pain,,, I still feel horrible to this day.

When I first came to her I she have known something was fishy because she had a sort of stand offish attitude. She never greeted me properly or anything. I thought I would just ignore her rudeness and keep it moving with the case. She was promissed me that she would do all these things for my case but as soon as I paid her, I was very hard to contact her and she kept on saying that she was very busy with other cases. She is a SCAM!!! she will take your money and not do anything! I suggest that you keep on searching for another lawyer. Becaseu my hard erned money went to in her pocket and now I have nothing to show for it.
