I was highly disappointed with the service I received from this law firm. I would have expected the lawyer to draw from her experience to advise me and allow me to make informed decisions on how to proceed, that did not happen. The lawyer did A LOT of unnecessary work that wasn't explained to me. Had I been advised on what the purpose of the paperwork was, along with pros and cons I could have made better decisions and potentially saved a lot of money. In my divorce mediation I was not well represented, or defended. My lawyer did not have a strong personality and is not suited for a situation where negotiation skills are necessary. I would not recommend this law firm, nor would I return to them. The most frustrating part on my whole divorce was realizing in hindsight that I had inferior representation. I highly recommend you find a lawyer that comes off a recommendation from someone that has personal experience with them. I based my decision on what seemed to be high ratings on google review. Expensive life lesson learned.

My husband and I worked with Christina Wilford to prepare our estate planning documents. The service was excellent and turn around was only a few weeks. I definitely recommend working with her.

Did a free consultation and wanted some help understanding what a will said and felt I got little info on if I had enough to start a case. A couple months pass and I find out info that makes me call and ask more questions. This time paying a very hefty $150 for an hour call and still had nothing to say to make me go oh I got a case or I don't. Call in a 3rd time to just try and explain this and the receptionist says " sir I have calls coming in and people I need to talk to " after a 10 minute call. Very disappointed in this law firm. How am I supposed to pay you $250 an hour when I can't even get simple questions answered? Please take this review as a moment to see possible flaws in your firm and room for improvement.

Melissa Riska was my attorney during the year 2016. I found that throughout my case I was not getting enough information and felt I was overcharged for asking the same questions that were not being answered. Upon finalization I was told by my attorney that she would be in touch with details on how child support was to be arranged with the state and that was over 3 months ago. If it were my client I would make sure they knew exactly what to expect, when to expect it and would follow-through. I would not make my client dig for the answers, that's the attorney's job and that's what they are payed so highly for. Especially since during a divorce there is enough distress already. The amount of money that is charged to settle these disputes should warrant a job that offers it's very best because you have someone's life in your hands. When your client is struggling with a life changing event that has affected them financially, emotionally and will continue on for years to come, it is extremely unfortunate that this is not taken into consideration. The process ended up being very disappointing and a hard, expensive lesson learned. I would not recommend this attorney.
